A wonderful family run hotel in a beautiful location. The hotel was well run, the food was outstanding & the customer service was second to none. Great facilities with a stunning spa. Nothing was too much trouble & we will have to visit again. Thank you to Andreas for his excellent cocktails!!!

My wife and I plus two friends have just enjoyed and wonderful week at this beautiful and well run hotel. We can’t speak highly enough of the property , the cuisine and the friendly hospitality we experienced. A special shout out goes to Johannas who could not have been more hospitable. The food really is exceptional and rivals any hotel I have stayed in around the world. The swimming pool and spa area is beautiful.

This was our 4th visit to this great hotel over the last 6 years and we have booked the Hiking Package on 3 occasions which is great as it includes the Holiday Card for access to the ski lifts and ferry boat across the lake plus other benefits. The rooms are well furnished and spacious and the view over the lake is great too. However, to us, one important feature is the lovely staff who give you a very personal welcome and look after you so well. In particular, Barbara at Reception is a fantastic ambassador for the hotel and a lovely personality too. Also Stella in the Dining Room, new to the job, but very friendly and looked after us a meal times. Other staff were also great and the food was brilliant. Swimming pools were fantastic after a day's walking and also the Mirror Sauna. We would highly recommend this hotel!

We would highly recommend this hotel. We were made to feel very welcome by the owners and all the staff. The facilities and particularly the swimming pool and various saunas were excellent. Also great food. Superb all in all.

This was our second visit to Hotel Wiesenhof. We can't praise it highly enough. You can tell from the moment you walk through the front door, that this is a family run hotel and that your custom and satisfaction really do matter. The family members are very visible and all the staff are so helpful and kind. The swimming pool is just beautiful and the newly rebuilt sauna a real improvement from our first visit. The food and service is fantastic too. We can highly recommend staying at this hotel.

We loved this fabulous family hotel in Tirol and cannot wait to come back again. Easily one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The food was just amazing, such a vast selection and so tasty. The staff were all fabulous so helpful and kind. The facilities were fantastic, the pool area is beautiful. Our daughter really enjoyed also the play area. The rooms are comfortable and great for families. Thank you so much and we look forward to visiting in the future again

The hotel was absolutely fantastic. They room had a lake view, was large, very comfortable, perfectly clean and so quiet. The food was superb, some of the best we have ever had, with a great choice and attention to detail. The staff could not do enough for you but were not instrusive. The service was perfect. This was a wonderful walking holiay with plenty of walks, snowy trails and and blue skies. We will certainly return.

We had a memorable week staying at the Wiesenhof Hotel in Pertisau starting second week of August 2025. The hotel is conveniently located in the centre of town, set back from the road but close to all amenities including the Lake Achensee waterfront. The Wiesenhof is a family-run hotel and that shone through in the welcoming attitude and commitment of the staff. The hotel caters for the range of guests – singles, couples and family groups. Our en-suite double room had a west-facing balcony and was very comfortable. The hotel offers a range of facilities chief among which must be the stunning, covered 25m swimming pool. The scope of activities available is impressive and the guest may pursue all manner of local pursuits: hiking, cycling, boating, swimming in the lake, golf, even paragliding. Furthermore, travel around the area is easy using the local bus service (free with bus pass). Our package was half-board, and the food was invariably excellent and beautifully presented. At dinner it was possible to have five courses and there were always four options for the main course including vegetarian options. We had visited Pertisau to take advantage of the wonderful hiking trails in the area. Fortunately, the Tyrol’s August weather that week was splendid. Walking around Lake Achensee is delightful and relatively flat but there are many hills/mountains to be walked as well – the walks range from easy to challenging. The views are stunning and we were not disappointed. On a ‘rest day’, we also visited the Schloss Tratzberg, a C16 castle near Jenbach and separately the Museum in central Jenbach. These attractions are both well worth a visit although we suggest confirming the days on which they are open before visiting.

This has to be the best hotel I have ever stayed in , having travelled around the world for the past 40 years. Incredibly kind and caring staff with an immaculately kept hotel with wonderful facilities in the spa and swimming pool. This all in a setting of the most magnificent views of the mountains. I really would find it hard to improve on this. Well done to the family team.
