Nautica Residences Fremantle

Location is away from the Fremantle center but great for walks along the river. The apartment is hard to find and enter if you arrive at night. Our code didn't work and we had to wait a while before the after hours guy on the phone got approval to release the master key code. You get only one set of keys which you need even to get down to the ground floor which is bad for emergencies. Parking is great. The bed is just a double. Receptionists during office hours are friendly. Generally however because of signs and warnings around the apartment, it felt a bit stingy. Our main complaint was that the apartment wasn't fully wheelchair accessible. The shower had a step in and is very small. It was doable only because of my support worker. No access to the balcony. Doors, fobs, taps, sinks and other furnishing are not for wheelchair users. Just thankful it was just doable with support, but more improvement needed.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay in Fremantle as a base for touring and doing the Perth area. Staff at reception(Hayley) is so helpful and caring and can’t do enough to help you and give you local knowledge. Parking and security is top brilliant and the room was very spacious and comfortable. Stayed 11 nights and bed is super comfortable. Aircon is good. Can’t really fault the whole package.

The apartment is spacious and offers most travellers sufficient space and everything you would need to a self contained apartment. Unfortunately the cleanliness was lacking and the check in if you arrive after 3pm is poor. For starters the dishwasher is mouldy and the metal tray inside is rusting. It doesn’t look like it has been cleaned ever!, we arrived later the. Pm and the process needed to collect your keys the park your car is poor and very confusing. I would strongly suggest if you a to try and arrive before 3pm and go to reception as this is manned until this time otherwise unless you have stayed here before.

Great hotel with all the home comforts you require, just 5 stops to east Perth. Just 4 further stops for supermarkets. Only 2 floors let but not an issue unless you have a lift phobia. Great bars a walk down to the river.

Amazing tour through two feet and a heart beat, which consisted of a scavenger hunt around Perth city. It was filled with lots of amazing activities which are quite easy to fulfil. Loads of fun. Highly recommend!!!

Just wanted to share my thoughts on our recent stay at Nautica Residences in East Fremantle. The deluxe apartment had a cool vibe – loved the open plan, comfy queen bed. Complimentary pods would have been nice for Nespresso machine in the kitchenette with option to purchase more. The private terrace was a nice touch, and free Wi-Fi is always a win. But, gotta be honest, some things bugged us. Stains on the carpet and a slow-draining bathroom sink weren’t ideal. The aircon needs some TLC; it struggled to cool things down. And hey, a swivel TV mount would be awesome for cozy bed-watching. Nighttime noise from the rooftop spot and early setup for lunch interrupted the chill vibe. While our stay had its ups and downs, I’d give it a 3 out of 5. Hoping this helps for future improvements. Cheers.

Well appointed room and loved the secure parking, convenient location to explore Fremantle

We spent 2 nights here in September 23 and would love to have stayed much longer, but our schedule didn't accommodate this. We had secure car parking in the basement car park, the room has all facilities and conveniences to live in long term. The only criticism we had was the placement of the toilet paper holder requiring reaching behind where you sit. There are several restaurants and cafes close by, and we highly recommend May Street Larder for breakfast (only open 6am to 2:30pm). We had evening meal at Cha Cha Restaurant and bar.
