Holiday Inn & Suites Toledo Southwest - Perrysburg

My family stopped here for a quick overnight headed home from a trip. It was a great experience. I am not sure if it is a new hotel or just newly renovated but they did a great job. The rooms are spacious and decorated nicely. The staff at the front desk was extremely friendly and very helpful. The breakfast buffet had a ton of options including fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs, French toast & bacon. We will definitely return on our next trip. It is located right off the highway and had several restaurants in the area as well as Costco (for gas.) Great job Holiday Inn!

We stayed at Candlewood Suites for one and a half weeks due to a tragedy that happened to my husband and I. They made us feel very welcome and very well taken care of. Our room was very comfortable. Also very quiet which we greatly appreciated. The family that manages the hotel all work very hard to make it a home away from home for their guests. I would absolutely recommend the Candlewood Suites to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in the Perrysburg/Toledo area!

We were here for two nights on Memorial Day weekend. We have stayed at many Hilton Gardens, and this one was just fine. A big plus is the location---close to I-75 and I-475, but with no road noise. It's right in an upscale shopping center which has a good bookstore, many unique shops, and some good restaurants (fine dining and more). It's larger than the typical HG (6-7 floors), and the lobby area and restaurant are also larger than typical. Our double queen room was just fine---what you expect from the chain. We were on the 6th floor, and had a nice view of the area. There is plenty of free parking just outside. There is an indoor pool, and the fitness room is above average. The buffet breakfast costs $15/person---it's fine, but just average for the chain. Staff were friendly, especially in the restaurant. We are big fans of the HG chain, and this one didn't disappoint.

Room was musty, bathroom wasn't the most presentable. The pool was cold so my kids didn't stay in the pool and opted for the hot tub which didn't appear to be the cleanest. Pool could use a good painting. EV charger was not working so I couldn't charge my vehicle. WiFi was not not working, couldn't connect on any of our devices. Breakfast was unimpressive, and food was out of stock for a long time. I'm happy our stay was only for one night otherwise I would have been tasked with cancelling the remainder of my reservation and looking for a new hotel to book with.

This is a great hotel - we’ve stayed here a few times with our teenage daughter. The breakfast has a lot of offerings. The pool is clean and nice. With sensitive skin, I appreciate all the Dove brand amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, and hand wash). We regularly book this hotel when we travel through the area. The only downside is nearby restaurants are somewhat limited, plan ahead and pick something up on the way. It’s still a short drive though to nearby restaurants if you go out after checking in. Highly recommend this hotel.

This is the first review I have ever written in my life. I don't think I have ever had customer service so bad ever. Context: I had a reservation for a week. At the end of the stay, I called to extend it for 3 days but the lady over the phone says I can have it for 2 more nights( OK cool i'll figure out the last night later). Then, on my second day I go to the front desk and ask for one more night. The lady at the front desk ( a different lady than on the phone) makes me sign paper and says I am good to go. Next day I get a call from the first lady again and she is yelling at me. ”You did not listen to me”. She is not telling me this in a nice tone, she is screaming at me over the phone in the most rude way possible telling me that it is my fault. Her excuse was ”the front desk girl is new and does not know what she is talking about”. How is this my fault? Then she says she will figure it out and call me in 10 minutes. 30 minutes pass and I call them back because i haven't received a call and apologize for getting angry (I apologize first even though it was not my mistake). Then she says she can move me to a new room and i ask for a discount. I have to leave work for an hour to pack my stuff and drive both ways only to find their discount was 20 dollars. I lost more money leaving work. I cancelled my room.(i asked for one again later but they said they were full which is whatever I understand that) After this I called 3 separate times and asked to speak with the manager and I get told that the manager will be back Friday at 7:00am. I call dot at 7 and i got told that the manager is not here and will get back on Monday. It is a shame for such a good hotel to have such terrible service. I am the most disappointed I have been in a hotel in years. I strongly advise against this hotel, there is a Tru by Hilton 30 seconds from there, it is worth to spend an extra 15 dollars to stay there.
