The grounds of this hotel are outstanding; the view is absolutely breathtaking; the hospitality on behalf of the entire staff is beyond words; the food delicious; and the memories … last a lifetime! Thank you, Elix for a wonderful experience.

Wow! What a stunning hotel, matched by first rate service and standards. We stayed on level 7 of the hotel, all rooms face the beautiful ocean. Whilst there are lots of short stairwells most areas do have lifts and the funicular down to the beach is amazing... they have thought of everything. The staff cannot be more helpful and all of them spoke very good English. The restaurants were all good offering a good selection of meat, fish or vegetarian options. I enjoyed breakfast, so much choice even the evening buffet 😀 Going in low season meant the hotel wasn't full so I cannot say how it would be if full but one thing is for sure, they have more than enough sunbeds for everyone :-) no fighting will be required. The bar area is also very large which is ideal for after dinner socialising as its a rather long twisty drive to get to either Perdika or Parga. Although both are worth a visit albeit parking in Parga will be troublesome in high season I would imagine. All in all I loved this hotel and would highly recommend to anyone. I would love to return again someday 🙏 Thank you to everyone at the hotel.

This was our 2nd visit to this fantastic hotel and yet again we had an absolutely amazing time. The location is stunning, we had a panoramic junior suite which was beautiful and kept very clean. We loved to sit on the beach during the day and was very well looked after with the beach service led by Alexandra and her team. We then ate at the poolside restaurant for lunch which was always beautiful and again staff were so friendly and polite. The buffet restaurant is also wonderful, for breakfast and evening meal. The A la carte restaurant is again fantastic, food and service 1st class. What stands out to me about this hotel is the Manager he is a fantastic gentleman who takes the time to walk around the hotel and speak with guests to make sure everyone is having a great time. I have to also mention Antigone Stamouli who is also an asset to this hotel what a fantastic lady, thank you so much for all your help. I thank all the staff who truly make this hotel a fantastic place to stay. Look forward to staying with yourselves again Thank you Hudson Family

Just stayed here for a week in October 2023. Booked a one bedroom family suite with a private pool and it did not disappoint! (We stayed in room 331) The views were absolutely stunning and it was so convenient for our family, we had travelled with a 3 year old so this allowed us to carry on swimming whilst she napped. Although I must say the pool was rather chilly! The pool area was very slippery once wet and our toddler fell several times throughout the week. Whilst this is to be expected at a poolside, just tread with caution. The room itself was spacious with plenty of hanging and folding space for clothes and a safety box. I would note our safety box was not working and could be carried out the wardrobe even if it did lock, so this possibly needs to be looked at from a security perspective. In addition there was no bath only a shower, although I must admit the water pressure was amazing. The bed was very firm and uncomfortable, both my husband and I had difficulty with it. On arrival we had fruit and wine left in our room along with a Marbella Elix branded beach bag, cuddly toy and crayons for our toddler which we felt was a nice touch. We chose the half board option as this was more than enough for us. On multiple occasions we ordered room service for lunch but we aren’t big drinkers so going all inclusive wouldn’t have been worth it for us. The food was some of the best buffet food I have had at a hotel. The quality and service were truly amazing. The staff are continually walking around and refreshing each of the serving bowls to ensure nothing was left in a mess for the next person. I had a fresh omelette every morning and it was delicious. The shop on site is small but has provisions you would need such as nappies, deodorants, sun cream, snacks, games etc. Unfortunately due to the remote nature of the hotel, if you haven’t hired a car or take a taxi to the local towns you are limited to the shop on site for any essentials and subject to those prices. A can of Coca Cola/Fanta will cost you €4.4 and a cocktail at the bar is €12. We took the funicular lift down to the beach which was great. Once at the bottom of the lift there are a set of approx 20 steps to walk as well. The beach is made up of course sand so I would advise water shoes to make it more enjoyable. We didn’t use any of the water sports available on the beach but from our hotel room you could see people out on the water having fun. The hotel was honestly amazing and I would highly recommend coming here. I would also add the transfer is 90 minutes from the airport on very tight winding roads. But the views were breathtaking and the journey is well worth it. Whilst there is a small children’s club there are no evening activities such as games or a mini disco. The play park on site is handy to have but very small. Evening entertainment on the whole is none existent but this really is a location where you are there to switch off, relax and unwind. I would definit

Great resort with exceptional facilities, comfortable large room and inspired, modern design. Good quality food and variety of vegetarian options breakfast and dinner were great , including all the staff were very helpful & friendly. Perfect place for a perfect holiday. It’s so fascinating to enjoy such facilities in the middle of the nature. Amazing landscape…😍 … The only one thing which I found annoying was, if you had a room with a pool on top of your balcony you get splashed sometimes with water 🤬 which the management should have a look at, otherwise great hotel

Firstly what a lush place, the views were amazing and the place was super clean. We were greeted with a welcome drink whilst the staff took our luggage to the rooms. As a group of 15 requests can be missed but the staff were onboard and made our experience memorable. They made sure we had everything we needed even before we asked. Special shout out to Chris and our cab driver who took all our memorable pictures and even got into some too! The food and drinks were to die for and we had a good variety daily. Wow I could write an essay about everything they did right but I’ll leave on a note to say I would definitely recommend to all!

A lovely hotel with all the amenities (excellent restaurant, pool, and private beach access), but what really got us was the EXCEPTIONAL service the staff provided. They were there at every request and whim and went well above to make sure we had the best time. I thoroughly enjoyed my sisters 30th birthday holiday. I can’t rave about this place enough, a 10/10 service from the moment we arrived til after we left.

Our family of 5, two couples and a 4 year old, stayed at the Marbella Elix in 2 family suites, for a fortnight at the beginning of July on the ‘ultra’ all inclusive package. We booked with Jet2 but didn’t see or gear ftom anyone representing them all fortnight. For the most part, the holiday was perfect - great weather but always a welcome breeze, a stunning hotel in a superb location, a lovely beach and pool, beautiful rooms with views to die for and well shaded balconies, superb food and drink offerings, friendly but professional service throughout, engaging kids’ club, etc etc However, a couple of ******* … At times the place seemed overcrowded, especially the buffet restaurant where too many people were crammed into certain spaces at busy times, but also the pool and the beach, at both of which the best beds were typically gone by 10.30am. A related point, there were many more children (and associated noise and activity levels) than we had expected, and the free kids’ club hours (10am - 1pm and 3pm - 6pm) did nothing to make meal times and evenings relaxed affairs. We would have expected a turn down service in a 5 star hotel; there was none. We’re not sure why the AI package is labelled ‘ultra’ when it excludes mini bar and room service. The ‘dine out’ feature consisted of a 5 minute minibus ride to a very standard Greek restaurant in Arilla with a limited food and drink offering and a level of service way below that provided by the hotel. We cancelled our second booking immediately on returning from the first. The a la carte restaurants had very restricted menus that didn’t change over the fortnight (the kids’ menu was more varied!!). Boat trips were expensive - €600 for a half day trip to Parga - certainly worth visiting and better to do so by sea than by road. All that said, we had a wonderful time and would love to visit again, although a week is probably long enough and we’d avoid July and August. Be aware that the cliff top / side location means that there are steps everywhere, even if you use the funicular to go to the beach. And it’s a long journey from and to the airport, even by private transfer.

We have just returned from a very relaxing week at the Marbella Elix. We stayed in double rooms with sea views (rooms 726/727). Travelled with our older children (18/20). The hotel is pristine and beautiful, set atop a cliff with views over to Paxos. Being on top of a cliff there are LOTS of stairs and lifts. There is a pool area with pool bar which we didn’t use as this seemed to be more popular with younger families. We trekked down to the beach everyday, which you can access via a gazillion steps or the funicular lift. The sun beds on the beach are super comfy and there is waiter service to your bed. The beach bar plays chill Ibiza style tunes and serves food from 12.30-4.30. Great cocktails served at all bars. The beach is course sand/fine shingle and the sea bed quite rocky so sea shoes are an advantage. Toilet facilities, changing cubicles and showers available at the beach. Staff all very friendly and work very hard to make sure your stay is enjoyable. You get booked in on your arrival to the a la carte restaurants, one fine dining and one Italian. Both very nice. However, you also get one ‘dine out’ option which is still part of the all inclusive but at a local taverna. This was not anywhere near the standard of the hotel and the food and service was very poor. If you can opt out, I would. The only downside of this hotel is that it is in the middle of nowhere (even the dine out taverna was secluded). We like to wander out after dinner and enjoy a walk around the village/harbour but the local village, Perdika, is a 35/40 euro round trip away. A hotel shuttle service would be an excellent addition. We had read a lot of reviews about lots of noisy children but at the time we visited, even though the hotel was full, it never felt overly busy. However, I would not think this was a very family friendly hotel. You can’t build sandcastles and with all the stairs and different levels not easily accessible for pushchairs and little legs. Evening entertainment is subtle music/grown up vibe in the bar so nothing to entertain younger guests. Speaking to guests who had booked a private pool room they were disappointed that the pool was not completely private - it was shared with another room and the pool separated by a glass screen. Something they felt wasn’t made clear in the description. There was never a mad sun bed dash which was refreshing. However, I think the pool area opened later to provide a quiet breakfast area for the Indigo restaurant. On the beach at 9.30/10 there were still plenty of beds. Conclusion - fabulous new hotel with 5* service and, for a weeks r&r, we would definitely return but would feel, for us, too isolated for longer.
