Comfort Hotel Dewa Retreat

I stayed at Dewa Resort in Rishikesh for two weeks in April 2024. I initially only booked in for four nights but ended up staying two weeks. It is well situated not far from the Lax*** Jhula area with a convenient cut through opposite the hotel that leads to the main tourist area. It is relatively quiet for Rishikesh. The room was well appointed with a very comfortable bed. There was also a safe in the room which I found useful. There is an Indian and an international restaurant as well as a pool. A good standard breakfast was included in my room rate. I also had one meal at the Indian Restaurant. The food was amazing and certainly as good as anything else you would find in Rishikesh. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. I had a few minor problems with the Internet, but that is nothing unusual in India. I really enjoyed my time staying here and would certainly stay at this hotel again.

This place isvery special. We got to experience the stillness and the beauty of India at the base of the Himalayan Mountains. We walked through the streets and enjoyed such beautiful culture. This allowed us to take a pause and reflect on this amazing place. The rooftop yoga was amazing. Thank you, Yogi. Ambika Bhatt was so accommodating and kind and made our experience even more personal. We made a new friend! Hope to see you again soon. We definitely know where we will stay.

I have stayed at Dewa ***y times, it feels like home. The location and the view are spectacular, waking up to see the Ganges and mountains each day. I like that it is a small boutique hotel. All of the staff are very kind, warm, helpful. And it has a lovely yoga studio, and great food in the hotel as well as at the Pure Soul cafe (yum, smoothies!). I look forward to returning again!

I stayed at Dewa for 3 weeks. As a wo*** traveling alone to India for the first time I really appreciated how helpful all the staff was. It was clean, comfortable, quiet, and close to everything I wanted to go to. Great buffet breakfast and outdoor pool. I was upgraded to a room with a balcony which was a special treat. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very good for the price. The employees were very nice and friendly. They have pretty much everything, but you have to book the private yoga class. They don’t have regular free classes. The place is clean. Hot showers. Good beds. There are two restaurants. The one inside the Hotel is called Sättvik and it was the best food I’ve had in India, beside a the excellent staff working there!!! The other restaurant, across the street, called Pure Soul was good too and the staff was also very nice!!! I was very satisfied with price benefits!

The rooms at Deva retreat are spacious and clean .. the staff is helpful, We had a very pleasant stay ! The cafe and the restaurant both have excellent food !! Our whole family enjoyed the service very much .

Excellent tasty food and personal service. All staff members were friendly and helpful… especially where dietary issues were involved Kalveer must get special mention. His service and attention always exceeded my expectations. Thank you.
