The Bayview Hotel

Location: As circled in blue on Google Maps, the main entrance faces east on Sai Song Road. A two-minute walk to the west leads to Beach Road, and to the north, it's right next to Central Shopping Center. My video view was from a city-view room on the 7th floor. Facilities: The hotel has 3 swimming pools. There are 2 pools with sun loungers and parasols next to the restaurant, and another pool near the gym. The room has been renovated with plenty of counter space, which is very convenient. The refrigerator is larger than in many other hotels. The shower area is a bit compact, but I don't mind. Overall, I'm very satisfied and would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is great, just across the road from Pattaya Beach.

Dragging my luggage up and down the stairs to check into this run-down, old place! Never coming back! The decor must be from 30 years ago; everything is so old! The showerhead is severely blackened, the sink faucet has a trickle of water, and you have to shower standing in a tiny bathtub... The experience was terrible!!!

The room itself was pretty good. The room I originally booked on floors 1-3 was fully enclosed, which wasn't ideal. I ended up upgrading to a sea view room, but the total price was even more expensive than a fully inclusive booking. To make matters worse, despite upgrading to the most expensive room, breakfast wasn't included. They said that for the upgraded room type, breakfast had to be purchased separately. However, looking at the prices, this was already the most expensive room in the hotel, and I even paid an extra 100 on top of that. Upgrading to a 3200 THB room with no breakfast meant I went out hungry every day, as there was nothing to eat outside in the mornings. Even rooms in the 2000 THB range included breakfast. It's really best to check carefully before booking. Upgrading on site is not only more expensive but also comes with fewer amenities. 😫
