The swimming pools, water park and slides were very good and kept my kids happy for 3 days. The hotel is opposite the beach and far away enough from the crazy parts of Pattaya. It was only takes around 5 minutes to get to Terminal 21. We had the Deluxe Family Room which came with 2 single beds and 1 bunk bed and was perfect for our family. However, our room was on the 6th floor and directly opposite an industrial cooling tower which was noisy and unsightly. It was so noisy we could not open the balcony door. I was very disappointed with this. Apart from this, we had a good experience.

The Amari Pattaya Resort was an amazing experience! The location is fantastic, right by the beach, offering a peaceful retreat while still being close to the action. The rooms are clean and spacious, the bedding is comfortable, and the pool and kids' facilities are excellent. The service was warm and attentive, and the breakfast was varied and delicious. I did a lot of research on Amari before coming, with some reviews being positive and others calling it a 'hit or miss'. After staying for three nights, I have to say objectively that while the hotel's overall facilities are a bit dated, my three-day stay was very comfortable and exceeded my expectations. It was excellent. The hotel's location is right by the Gulf of Thailand; you just walk a few steps across the road to the beach. Plus, there are several restaurants and a 7-Eleven right outside, making dining and essentials incredibly convenient. The hotel breakfast was definitely better than what some online posts suggested. The variety was quite comprehensive. While some dishes weren't amazing, it was certainly easy to find things you liked and eat your fill. The fresh fruit, in particular, was great, and there was a wide selection of juices. The pool facilities are absolutely a highlight and were the main reason I chose Amari. My kids really enjoyed it, especially the waterslides – they couldn't get enough of them. The family room had a king-sized bed, probably two meters wide, plus a bunk bed, which comfortably accommodated 2 adults and 2 children. My only complaints are that the air conditioning is quite old and very noisy. Also, the family room's orientation isn't great, so there's no sea view. However, these were minor issues that we could overlook. Overall, I'm very satisfied, and my family was happy. We would definitely consider coming back.

The hotel's beachfront location is really nice, and the common areas are good too. Service was just okay though. On the second day, they didn't provide new slippers or water. When checking in, the front desk suggested upgrading our twin room, saying it wasn't suitable for staying with a child. I declined as my child is still young. I also specifically requested a room away from the elevator, but they gave us one right next to it. The elevator noise was quite noticeable and affected our sleep. The water quality was poor; luckily, I brought my own shower head and filter. After just a short shower, the filter turned into the condition shown in the picture.

I stayed here for two nights, both in a Deluxe King Room with Pool View. The room was 49 square meters, and rooms ending in '8' have one 1.81-meter king bed plus a sofa bed, which was incredibly comfortable and spacious enough for two adults and two small children. The hotel is right by the beach, next door to OZO Hotel. There's a free shuttle service to OZO (as they're part of the same group, but Amari is more upscale than OZO). Pros: 1. Super convenient location, just a crosswalk away from the beach. 2. The hotel has an adult pool, a kids' pool, and a water slide – I went on it 20 times, it was so much fun! 3. There's a Kids' Club with daily activities. 4. Excellent accessibility; there's a free, on-demand shuttle bus to the adjacent OZO hotel (same group). From OZO, it's just a one-minute walk across the street to Terminal 21, which is incredibly convenient. 7-11 and Chinatown are also just a five-minute walk away. 5. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options. 6. The room was very spacious. The king bed could easily sleep one adult and two small children, and there was also a sofa bed that could accommodate another adult. 7. Plenty of complimentary bottled water. We were two adults and two children, and asking for extra bottles from the staff was no problem at all. 8. Great value for money. Even during Chinese New Year, it was only 1000 baht per night including tax. 9. No extra charges for exceeding the stated occupancy. My son is over 12 and my daughter is over 8, which, according to hotel policy, should incur adult and child breakfast fees, but when I checked out, I wasn't charged anything extra. Cons: 1. I'm not going to add any personal opinions, just state the facts about what happened during our four-day stay at the hotel. 1. **Check-in Process**: The hotel explicitly states check-in is after 3 PM. Our group arrived at 3:10 PM that day and were told one room would be ready in 15 minutes, and the other in 50 minutes. However, by 4 PM, neither room was ready. We finally got one room around 4:30 PM. I'd like to ask the hotel, if it takes an hour and a half to get one room ready, can guests also delay their check-out by an hour and a half? If you're understaffed, shouldn't you increase your personnel in advance? 2. **Mysterious Odor**: From late on the first night of our stay, one of the two rooms had a sewage smell emanating from the air conditioning vent. Over the next few days, maintenance repeatedly came to fix it, but the issue was never fully resolved by the time we checked out. We never found out where the smell was coming from, and the hotel offered no explanation. 3. **Housekeeping Efficiency**: We stayed for a total of four nights. Only on the second day was our room fully cleaned. On the third day, our group went to Koh Larn, leaving the hotel at 8 AM and returning at 4:30 PM. The sea view room offers great views of the garden and isn't noisy. The room itself is huge, and the staff are all very friendly. The kids' club and childcare service are fantastic, and the water park kept my child entertained. The beach is just across the road, and it's also very close to Terminal 21. Highly, highly recommended! While it's a bit pricey, the Amari Suite made my family very happy! It's super close to the beach and Terminal 21 mall, yet still quiet. The hotel's kids' services and pool are also great! And the Italian breakfast was fantastic!

Chinese travelers, steer clear! I absolutely do not recommend this hotel. It's incredibly old, and the air conditioning sounds like a leaf blower—I even have a video of it. This is an old five-star garden hotel in Pattaya, and while the garden environment is indeed lovely and the views are good, that's pretty much where the positives end. The overall experience was terrible. First off, the hotel is simply too old, and the facilities are severely outdated. The worst part is the air conditioner, which made a huge, rumbling noise all night long, making it impossible to sleep. If you unplug it, it's quiet, but then the room becomes stuffy and hot, completely unbearable. I barely got any sleep all night. Secondly, the cleanliness was very disappointing. I actually found two small cockroaches in the room and had to deal with them myself. Plus, the elevator had a strong, unpleasant odor, making every wait for the elevator a miserable experience. Also, the pool isn't enclosed, so its practicality is quite limited. I honestly advise everyone coming to Pattaya to avoid old hotels like this. Even if they have a big name and look nice, the actual stay is noisy, uncomfortable, and unsanitary. You're basically paying for a bad experience. Highly NOT recommended!

Nice hotel, just a little bit old rooms, but it's not a problem. Great brekfast! Lots of swimming pools, kids will be happy. Very good location - close to Terminal 21, many restaraunts nearby, 1 minute from the sea. I recommend this hotel.

A true 5-star experience! My girlfriend and I had an amazing New Year’s holiday at the Amari Pattaya. From the moment we arrived, we felt absolutely pampered. Our first impression was the impeccable cleanliness—even the air felt fresh. The staff were well-groomed, professional, and incredibly service-minded. Despite the high occupancy of the holiday season, they made us feel welcome and right at home throughout our three-night stay. Our room was spotless and comfortable, boasting a fantastic view. While the pools were a highlight, we did find the fitness center equipment to be somewhat limited. However, the real standout was the breakfast buffet at Amaya. Having stayed at many hotels in North Pattaya, this is by far the most delicious breakfast we have ever experienced. On a minor note, the in-room TV’s Chromecast was a bit inconvenient, and the Wi-Fi was somewhat slow. Having native apps like Netflix and YouTube directly on the TV would have been a great addition. That said, we enjoyed our stay immensely. If we return to North Pattaya, we would choose Amari Pattaya 10/10 times!
