Hotel the Shaurya

Worst hotel to go. Front office ***ager Pradeep Kumar was rude. Rooms are dirty. When we brought this to his notice he became aggressive. We told him we booked the hotel looking at the pictures. He said they have one room set up for pictures and all hotels do this

We stayed here for a function although marriage function was in other hotel. A nice hotel with plenty space for parking in front. Rooms big with all amenities. No noise disturbance. Bathroom big with toiletries, hair dryer. Staff courteous friendly. Smooth check in.

The Shaurya - The only best hotel in Patiala with pathetic and terrible hospitality services. We had booked them for wedding, in which we the host had to serve the guest by our own hands, as their incapable staff was unable to serve the food and snacks on time, instead were busy eating themselves behind the table. They have charged us for the pre-planned (Platinum Menu) and failed to serve as per which was commited by them. We were asked to make the final payment, if we need to get the commited meals to be served on the table! The nuisance does not end here, they don't have laundry bags available at the hotel to be provided to the guest and the staff at the reception had to seek ***ager approval before providing laundry bags to the guests! Wow! So, overall review would be, if someone really wants to waste their hard earned money and loose their peace of mind, they must go in for The Shaurya Hotel else people may plan their functions and stays at any other hotel which are value for money and will go out of the way to extend their services.

I’ll share honest feedback about this property. 1. First of all when you enter,no one will take your luggage inside hotel. You have to be a bellboy yourself and take luggage inside property. 2. I requested lady at front desk to let me checkout till 2 PM since i was checking in at 4 PM. She refused. I mean being so strict is not good for reputation of propery. 5 Star properties allow till 2 PM but not a 2 star. Shameful ! 3. I didn’t found anyone here hospitable except one house keeping staff. I mean you guys belong to hospitality industry. Don’t behave like u just want guests to just check in and out and nothing else. 4. What type of breakfast was this ?? No coffee in breakfast? I’m in hotel industry since more than 5 years. Never seen a single property whether 5 or 3 star that charges for coffee in breakfast No variety in buffet too Extremely disappointing!!! 5. Overpriced- 4k inc breakfast? Seriously?? At 4k i usually book Radisson,Ibis etc which is 3 star and 5 star with facilities such as. Gym,Pool etc. ( Please don’t pay more than 3k for this property) Otherwise it will be a bad deal 6. They Charge 4k and don’t give any facilities like Gym,Pool,Steam etc. In 4k k book Ibis,Radison,Vivanta which offers these facilities. So very average experience and acceptable property,nothing else. (Very strict about check in and check out as well even after being a 2 star prop )

The staff was so rude to my parents and had no emotional understanding. They just wanted us to put the down payment without telling us hidden charges, thankfully we knew before doing the down payment. They charge insane amount of money for nothing because they have hidden charges for everything like DJ, Furniture, host, LED Lights, Flower decorations. The venue we liked was a rooftop and when my parents asked them what if it rains? the staff replied so rudely by saying "we cannot stop renting our other halls for your function and if weather is bad, the most we can do is move you to the restraunt" I don't understand how are people like that employed at a wedding place, even the ***ager was so heartless and rude, all they cared about was money. Charging lacks of rupees for just the venue and asking us to pay for every service we want? I wish I was physically present with my parents because the way they treat people is absolutely awful and non-hu***. Weddings are already the occasion of emotions and these people were completely heartless. Save your money and invest it somewhere else because the audacity these people have to talk this rudely with Girl's parents you never know the staff can insult you in front of your guests if you ask for an extra bottle of water too becase they don't care. The worst experience ever, spoiled our moods and they will spoil your's too. Weddings are supposed to be an environment of happiness and cooperation but I guess for them, its just a business. I suggest places like Hotel Eqbal Inn or Hotel Ajuba Residency, the staff was soo cooperative there and assured my parents that I am like their daughter and they will make sure my wedding is the best.

Their Food is so bad that i wanna eat my maid's cold food at home. I have been a customer in theor restaurant since Shaurya opened. Earlier it was an amazing place te grab a bite but now Their New Chef is so terrible. Nothing in my order was even average. Dont vome here for food.

Dear Sir I wish to tell you that today evening I had organised a birthday party for my son in your hotel. I have not seen such horrible and pathetic service ever in my life. Firstly the people to serve were not there. They were so rude that everyone had raised objections. The GM Mr Swaran Singh is another disgrace in the hotel. He had promised that icecream with hot chocolate would be served and though it was charged but it was not given only. You are actually cheating the people. Mr Swaran Singh was not picking my phone for the complete duration and did not meet me when I de***ded after the finish. He had the gumption to say that I should have informed him in the middle of the party. I think this is heights of indecency. You think you can become a good hotel by being so rude and negative. I wish to tell you that you should now return the money that I have given and the extra that you have illegally taken from me. Had you given some semblance of a party I would have been happy but you have been pathetic to say the least. The front desk has also been instructed that they should not allow me to speak to the GM or the owner. I hope this mail is sent to the owner and he realises that he has nicompoops who are ***aging his hotel and looting the people.

The overall service provided and the cleanliness of the rooms are not good at all. I would never want to visit this hotel again. And our room was opened by one of the hotel staff using the master key at 11.30 pm on 9th Sep. This was done because one of the guests mistook our room to be his own and hotel staff never verified the correct room number before attempting to open the door.

Stayed here for one night in Feb 2022. Pros: 1) Very good quality business hotel. 2) The rooms and bathrooms were very spacious and very clean. Bath fixtures were modern and new. 3) The quality of food at the restaurant was great. Food is available for most part of the day. 4) Wifi was free and the speed and connectivity good. 5) The tariff was reasonable. 6) The place is quiet at nights. Sleep quality was great. Cons: 1) The check-out process was quite slow. We waited 15 mins just to get our room checked. 2) The location is not great. It is a 10 min walk to Dukh Nivaran Gurudwara. But the city centre is far away and there is very few eating/shopping options next to the hotel. 3) It is not easy to find transportation option close to the hotel. 4) We had problems with hot water supply during our stay. Only cold shower was available.
