Gonana Guesthouse is the ideal place to relaxe infront of the sea. It is well situated. The room is nice but a cupboard is missing. The staff are helpful, friendly and smiling. Good and complete breakfast.

We stayed in gallop studio. It was very nice and beautifully furnished. Very close to the beach and we could hear the waves crushed against the shore. We had the most delicious breakfast. Best muffins ever

Once again we brought our group (Sundstrom Travel) to Gonana for a two day visit and all of our clients loved it. Great accommodation and staff in a wonderful location by the beach. Can't be better! Looking forward to come back in 2024.

In a really beautiful location, with lovely interior design. You are right on the beach, and walking distance to everything. Service not the best, and I didn't appreciate being given twin beds for a couple. Our room was also situated right by the bins and the front door, which was quite loud. But a really lovely place despite all that, and we had a great time.

We had seen images online and when we arrived at Gonana Gust House it exceeded our expectations! We were greeted by welcoming staff who attended to all your needs. The best part was looking out to the gorgeous sea view and the feeling of complete relaxation. What a location, easy access the beach to take long walks and close to restaurants in town. Accommodation is very comfortable with attention to detail. Overall a wonderful experience and we cant thank the staff enough for a great getaway!

We had a lovely two-night stay at Gonana Guest House. The decor creates a serene atmosphere, and the place is comfortable and quiet. The staff are all professional, cordial and helpful. The guest house is situated on the beach and it’s possible to walk quite a distance on good paths. There are numerous restaurants in town; we were there in the off season and some were closed, but we had plenty of options. I recommend it highly and thank everyone there for making our stay so pleasant!

What a great house that is so calming, warm and inviting. We enjoyed every minute and will definitely be back! Warm fireplace and decor with an amazing view of Bekbaai. Close to everything but far enough to be quiet and secluded.

It is always such a pleasure to stay at Gonana, counting us a regulars.. This time we chose to self-cater so that we could take our furry children with us. I am also a chef and love to prepare our own meals, hence the choice. The fresh sea air and waves really do put you in a relaxing mood and as a fellow guest house owner it is nice to enjoy a forced break and can highly recommend Gonana. Fantastic location close to the beach and ocean. The view from the lounge and balcony is absolutely breathtaking! Could sit there for hours. The breakfast was so good. Fresh and very tasteful with great variety of choice. The room was beautiful decorated and the bed was very big and high standard. Friendly and service minded staff .
