Great
NNicoleThe location was decent—about a 20-minute walk to the cable car and Chinatown. Service was solid, and the staff were helpful, offering great suggestions on places to visit. The complimentary morning tea and coffee and afternoon wine tasting section in the lobby was a nice touch. However, one downside was the lack of good budget-friendly breakfast options nearby.

GGuest UserDally the front desk is very RUDE !!! We arrived at the lobby and there is one front desk present ( Dally) who is assisting two or three more guest then I saw this online checkin kiosk I opt to used it for convenience so I input my info and the machine confirmed my reservation and requesting me to pay the resorts fee and security deposit which is not yet paid so I inserted my card then this Guy from the front desk loudly said don’t used that it will double charge you. So I quickly removed my card but the transaction have been processed so I have no choice but to finish my transaction and get our key cards then he keep saying I can’t help you now Cant help you now with a RUDE tone and he also went in-front of me telling You DID that too yourself And Can’t help you now …. I’m about to get mad because of his rude attitude towards me. then Bryan arrived he was very hospitable help us out and explained the charge to us and Confirm that there is NO DOUBLE Charge he also mention the name of his rude colleague who is dallie or dally Please take AXIOM because this employee doesn’t know what he saying with his rude attitude toward me … As a hospitality graduate he should treat the guest with empathy and offer his services because its his job. And he can explain it properly and say sorry is out of my scope and ask help from my manager Also when we check out on oct 13 around 7am theres a front desk who has no energy. We greeted him and I asked for checkout He just pointed the drop off keys and has this DO NOT DISTURB ME attitude while we are waiting at the lobby with my partner he loudly said Hey are you guest here ??!! With a condescending tone, he taught my partner was an outsider… We just greeted him 5minutes ago that how snobbish he is he didn’t even remember my partner… Regardless the two women front desk TAYLOR and TATIANA are kind and warm unlike the two FO .

CChloe J LWe had a fantastic stay at the Westin St Francis. It exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend it. The hotel and suite itself were amazing, but more importantly, it was the service that really impressed us. 5 Star service and we were so grateful for how helpful all the staff were. Particularly Luis who checked us in and was very kind. Also, a special thank you to Bikram who was most helpful when I left my AirPods behind and he organised for them to be returned to me!

GGuest UserVery expensive for a B&B. Nice spot in the Castro/ Mission district near Dolores Park. Well-maintained & reasonable management. Lots of stairs to go up into main house lobby — wrought iron gates with intercom to buzz to get entry into property. Try to get a room in the older main house to minimize stairs! No AC. They have limited parking spots behind the two B&B houses (access from Dorland St) for US$35./day plus tax which is a steep price. Make sure u book a parking spot in advance. Beautiful garden courtyard in the back. Sadly we never got to use it. Try to get a room that faces the other “house” or the backyard - quieter. We had a front room Deluxe King Room 36 which looked nothing like the sample room photos (only one Room 24 w courtyard view, sofa, coffee table). We got a smaller room approx 290sf vs what we paid for 32sq.m, 344sf, no closet just small armoire to hang a couple of things, no sofa, no coffee table, no balcony. They were kind enough to give us a refund for the price difference between the Deluxe King we booked & the Standard King we got. Had to ask for them to vacuum room. Found tissue under headboard/bed, dusty. Not the kind of room you would want to spend much time in —teeny tiny TV, faced front noisy street with electric bus passing by. No screens in windows so had to close windows at night to keep critters out. Bed was ok. Pillows were synthetic & lumpy. View was of electric lines & school across the street. Beware some electric outlets. One was burnt out. Breakfast was repetitive but nice to eat in a lovely breakfast room or outdoor deck. Hard-boiled eggs, muesli, fruit, muffins/ carbs, American coffee, juices. Fortunately SPRO café was next door if you need a great cappuccino or chai latté! Didn’t get a chance to enjoy their wine & cheese. Contact them on WhatsApp +1 (415) 297-6891 to discuss rooms available.

HHelena AlwaylateThe hotel is exceptionally clean and well-maintained with a fresh, pleasant scent throughout the property. The staff provide excellent service and are extremely helpful, always ready to assist with a warm and welcoming attitude. The location is great and convenient, the price is reasonable and offers good value for money, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing – delightful and beyond expectations. The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful, allowing me to relax and get a full, restful sleep. I felt safe the whole time, and the place was not intimidating at all. On the first day of my stay, there was a power outage which delayed the check-in process, and I was quite upset at first. However, the staff kindly helped carry my luggage up to my room on the 3rd floor despite the difficult situation. Seeing how exhausted everyone looked, I couldn’t stay angry – they truly did their best, and I appreciate their effort and dedication. Overall, it was a genuinely relaxing experience, and I would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for cleanliness, tranquility, great food, and heartfelt hospitality.

GGuest UserEven though the Check-In process is a little annoying, later on, getting into the hostel is quite convenient. The hostel had everything and the staff was very helpful. The only thing I didn't appreciate is the material of the bunkbeds, as the metal made quite a lot of noise, when guests were moving. Leaving my luggage before checking in also worked well. Overall a very decent hostel experience!

GGuest UserThe hotel itself is highly recommended. It has a great location, very nice rooms and very friendly service. However, we also had some hiccups during our visit. We had booked the room for four people, but the room was only equipped with towels for three people. Not that much of an issue - we just asked every day for an additional towel. We booked an Alcatraz Bundle via the concierge, which all went well. However, the charge included a $15 consumption voucher per person at the hotel bar, which was a bit difficult to redeem. You had to try to get the exact amount, as it was not possible to receive a credit for any change left. It was also not possible to pay on top of the voucher. We were told that the voucher could be used like cash but it wasn't quite like that after all. So perhaps this is not necessarily recommended. We also booked bicycles with the concierge, which worked very well. However, my kids really liked the evening cookies and milk and the games room.

GGuest UserThis Hotel has great customer service all the way through. It is in a prime location basically a block from Fisherman’s Wharf. The rooms are a little small, the bathroom is as well. They have a vanity outside of the room with the only bathroom switch which I thought was weird. I requested a quiet room and I got exactly that so beggars can’t be choosers. All in all it’s a good hotel especially when you are out and about in the City.

JJIANDIANThe hotel facilities are relatively average, the rooms are still ok, and the prices are reasonable. The sound insulation is not good, and the voices of outside guests can basically be heard. The most disgusting thing is that the hotel has a strange smell. It seems that hotels run by Indians have this taste, which is generally acceptable.

GGuest UserAll of the staff seemed really nice. From the moment we arrived and had a friendly greeting from the valet parking worker, to the ladies that we interacted with in reception. The room was nothing special, but by that I mean it had no outstanding features, or any distinguishable traits that would separate it from other hotels The concierge was friendly and helpful, and was very useful in helping us to plan our activities. And the hotel is in a good location to get to the pier or do the 'big bus' tour. But here's the downside. The gym is small, had no steriliser, or wipes, even though one of the rules stated in the gym is to wipe down the equipment after use. And the overall impression of the gym is that it could do with a really good clean from top to bottom. Added to that there's the washing machine and tumble dryer located in the gym. Yes that's right, in the actual gym. Now we were very happy when we read about the hotel having washing machine facilities, but we were slightly surprised at it's location. Another thing was the air con. We stayed in September and although the weather for the season was just starting to cool down after the summer, it was still fairly warm. The air con looked as if it had been fitted in the seventies and made a sound as if it had been running non stop ever since then. It was so noisy that we had to turn it off completely at night time and at different times during the day. On a final point we received news regarding the death of my partner's daughter, which meant that we had to cut our whole vacation short including this leg of the trip. We informed the front desk that we would be checking out one day early. We were not expecting a refund, for that day, but after being told by the member of staff that the 30 dollar a night 'destination fee' would be waived for the night that we were not going to be there, we later found out that this fee had still been added to the final bill. We still have no idea what a 'destination fee' is, but to be charged it when we weren't even at the hotel was extra galling. And what was also strange was the fact they didn't even ask why it was that we had decided to cut our stay short? Would you not be interested to know whether something was wrong with your customers stay, and to know why they had cut their visit short?? A bit of a poor end to a otherwise 'ok' stay at the hotel.
