It truly made our trip to Paris perfect. The location was perfect both to walk to places or take the Metro. The rooms are beautifully decorated and big enough for a city hotel. Breakfast is varied and lovely including the service. The front house is polite and efficient. The lobby area is calm and inviting. I particularly want to mention, the Head Concierge, Christophe who was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He got us entrance tickets to the Louver Museum and exhibition without having to queue. we loved staying at Bel Ami and definitely will return as it was a pleasure to return to our room at the end of each day.

What else would you do on a wet, blustery, rainy March afternoon in Paris, but pamper yourself with a leisurely high tea at the wonderful Lutetia Hotel? My daughter and I booked a 3pm slot and having deliberately foregone lunch, we arrived hungry & right on time. We were seated immediately by a very efficient & kind hostess beneath the highly decorative glass roof in Le St-Germain and ordered the set afternoon tea menu for 65€ with Blue of London tea for me and a delicious thick hot chocolate for her. Our drinks arrived promptly and we chatted as we waited for the pièce de résistance: 3 savoury and 7 sweet items. After another 35 minutes of waiting, our stomachs finally stopped rumbling. Obviously chef patissier Nicolas Guercio's creativity wowed us, especially the Crab with yuzu sansho, daikon infused with grapefruit on the savoury side, while the Pineapple and green cardamom sorbet vied with the Scones clotted cream and raspberry jam (memories from my childhood!) on the sweet side. What wowed us much less was the fact that we were asked to vacate our table at 4:50pm! Not only had we waited 40 minutes to actually eat our afternoon tea, but now we were being rushed out after an hour and 10 minutes! Nowhere on the website was there mention that you have under 2 hours to consume your afternoon tea. So future afternoon tea amateurs, beware, there's no such thing as a leisurely afternoon tea at the Lutetia!

Best hotel! Made for a perfect home base for our mom daughter trip! The staff was so friendly and helpful. Every time we walked into the hotel we felt at home. Sanjay was incredible! He made us feel like we were the most special guests at the hotel and we know he made everyone feel that way! He was always checking in to see if we needed anything and see how we were doing. I contacted him a month or 2 prior to our stay and he made wonderful suggestions! He made us reservations for dinners- each one more delicious than the other and helped us secure tickets during our trip within minutes of asking! The airline lost our luggage and he worked diligently to help us get it back the next day. The hotel is truly lovely, decorated beautifully, comfortable and clean! We really enjoyed getting into bed after full days on our feet! Location was perfect too! When we return to Paris we will 100% stay here again and recommend it to our family and friends. Thank you for a great vacation! Can’t wait to return!

Overall it was very good Seine River and Luxembourg Park are both within walking distance, so it was nice to take a walk. Public transportation is a bit vague, but I almost went to Odeon Station. Most of all, the front desk staff were very friendly, so it was a very comfortable stay and the security was good. If you are in a single room, be sure to ask for a good view on a higher floor :)

The hotel is very new, beautifully decorated, stylish and reasonable, and the rooms are small but adequate. The toiletries in the room are L'Occitane, a capsule coffee machine and a kettle, slippers, no toothbrush and toothpaste, and a half bottle of champagne. The front desk service was especially good. When I left, I asked if I needed to bring a bottle of water to drink. In the afternoon, I also provided free tea. It is a very cost-effective hotel in Paris. Stay next time!

Everything about it was fine expect for the fact that the aircondioning in our room did not work the whole time we were there, It was hot and humid in Paris at that time so we had to open the windows which unfortunately allowed the mosquitos in. I still have bites that are healing. Breakfast was good, if slightly expensive. The location is not close to much however it is very close to four different Metro lines and you can get just about anywhere on the Metro.

The location is superb, everything you need is just outside and with walking distance to almost everything:) The only thing missing is a coffemaker in the room for us who needs coffee when we wake up, otherwise nothing to complain about, just adorable! We will be back!

We had a wonderful 2 night stay here. We landed in Paris after a direct flight from CA with our two young kids, and the staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable, which was incredibly appreciated with 2 very tired, her-lagged children. I had a horrible experience. On the 5th day the housekeeper barged in my room and would not leave after I screamed from inside the shower. She finally left ten min later to return to clean my room. Do you not have any common sense leave the room do not startle the guest ! I came back late that night to find my door OPEN! The housekeeper left it open I always check if my door is locked. I got scared and maybe 1-2 shirts are missing and I lost my drivers license. I complained to the night manager and day attendant and they both said well at least your passport wasn’t stolen right ? WHAT KIND OF RESPONSE IS THAT. I SAID IT IS UNACCEPTABLE TO LEAVE THE DOOR OPEN IT IS UNSAFE ESP FOR SINGLE WOMEN TRAVELERS. I cried to the night attendant and said what if it were ur daughter coming home to the hotel open unsafe how would you feel ? They repeated it was not problem as passport was not stolen. I wanted to change hotels the next day but did not want to waste three hours of my day to do this. I asked for no housekeeping and left early sat. I asked for help getting a taxi to the airport and they said I was a problem guest and gave me a hard time and finally got me the taxi after making me the guest feel guilty . I asked for a partial refund and they said no. This is the most inflexible scary backwards horribly run hotel. I regret trying to save money to stay here. I don’t write reviews but I want to help any single woman traveler staying here. DO NOT STAY HERE IT IS NOT SAFE. YOU WILL BE SAFER SLEEPING IN A HOSTEL OR ON THE STREET. I am going to call my credit card company or booking.com to get a partial refund. DO NOT STAY HERE EVER! Horribly run by people who don’t care about your safety just want your money!!

Fabulous location and a very pretty little hotel. Room on the small side, but perfectly adequate for the 4 nights we stayed here and cleaned daily. Staff on the whole, very friendly. My only complaint was that my booking included breakfast and this was paid for in advance. When we checked out, we were charged for this, even though I showed the staff member my booking which clearly stated breakfast WAS included. As it was an early morning checkout and we needed to get to the airport, I didn't have the time to take it further.
