The hotel's location near the station is decent, quite close, but there are no convenience stores in the vicinity. This means if you return late at night, there's no place to buy water, and to top it off, the hotel doesn't even provide complimentary water. The elevator is old and slow. My room was right next to the stairs, and the soundproofing was very poor. These issues were somewhat manageable. However, the most significant problem was the check-in on the first day: one of the Black female staff members had an incredibly awful attitude. All the other female staff I encountered afterwards were perfectly pleasant. Having traveled extensively in Europe, I always make sure to greet hotel staff upon entering. But when that particular lady was checking me in, she clearly looked impatient and annoyed, as if she'd bite your head off if you dared to say one more word. Aside from that, the housekeeping was satisfactory; it was solely her off-putting attitude that left a bad impression.
