A nice hotel. I love the people there. And Paris is the wonderful place I have been.

This is a small hotel in an old building. Overall clean and good location.

staff was kind. room was a bit small but very clean. check in was smooth. needless to say, the area is the best.

The room was well appointed and comfortable. It had everything needed for a pleasant stay. I would definitely stay here again. Everything is walkable. I walked to Notre Dame, to La Marais, Shakespeare and Company, palace of Cite, it's jconvenient, a perfect place to stay. There are lots of restaurants and shopping. Anything you want is at your fi fertips to make your vacation most enjoyable.

The walls are too thin. The doors are improperly cut. THE NOISE is the reason I gave a low score. YOU CAN HEAR YOUR NEIGHBORS COUGH. The cleaners are loud early in the morning.

Grand Hotel des Balcons is my new go to hotel! The rooms are tiny but they’re spotless. No bedbugs!!! Plenty of hot water and good water pressure. No bad smells. One person elevator. Cheerful and friendly staff will help you make reservations if you need that. Breakfast is typical meats, cheeses, fruit, croissants, pain au chocolat, scrambled eggs, sausages, potatoes and more. Really good coffee. Bed and pillows are comfy. It’s on a quiet one way street but just two blocks from Blvd St Germain. the courtyard side rooms are very quiet. 24 hour staffing at front desk. Enough sockets to plug in 2-3 items. No dresser in the smaller rooms but they have shelving and closet space to hang things. Every room has floor to ceiling windows that open. In room safe. The rooms are cleaned daily. No tubs. They provide body wash/shampoo and small bars of soap. Hair dryer. Towels are replaced if you leave them on the floor. Towel warmer, great for drying things you’ve washed in the sink. Bathroom fan actually works. The shower is the walk in type with drain in the floor and shower curtain so the whole bathroom doesn’t get wet. The shower sprayer removes and the height is adjustable. Flat screen tv but no English channels. Best budget hotel in a great area, the 6th arrondissement. Walkable to so many things. ❤️

Amazing place to stay, super friendly and helpful staff. And a perfect location to get around the city on foot or by public transport. Also lots of restaurants in close proximity. I had booked a twin room as that was all that was available and they upgraded me to a double room free of charge.

The hotel was a little out of the centre of Paris which but walkable to things like Louvre. Little far to walk to other sites. I used Uber a lot but there was a local metro just around the corner. Check in wasnt until later in the day at normal times and they did have a luggage room that you could leave cases in. Elevator/lift was tiny so be prepared for multiple trips if you have family or more than one or two small cases. Rooms are a little on the small side but it's all I needed. Area is quiet and safe.
