It's like a small butler-style hotel, but the rooms are well-matched and tasteful. The location is central. Nearby attractions, such as the Louvre, Orsay, and Place de la Concorde, are within walking distance. It's quiet and safe.

Parisian style accommodation. I was given the topmost room, and the lighting is emotional. The problem is water supply. Fortunately, I brought a filter, but it turned black after taking a shower.

very nice service, amazing experience, we would recommend for our next stay the location is just perfect, very close to every central monuments and museums of Paris, breakfasts were very generous, and the hotel is very quiet, definitely a good choice

While I am accustomed to cramped rooms and older style buildings in Paris, my stay was wholly uncomfortable and I wont return It was 30 degrees and the AC in the room did not work. There were no fans provided and leaving the windows open only made it loud. The wifi was a challenge - the upload speed was unacceptable at less than 1mb, meaning a single photo took ages to post. Though the bathroom looked recently renovated, the shower head was partially blocked and spewed water all directions, most notably on the floor outside the shower. I did appreciate there was 2 bottles of free water in the room, and the location is close to many cafes and sights.

This hotel has bed bugs. On the day we arrived (we hadn't even spent the night) we noticed bed bugs in our bed. There were live bugs as well as stains on the sheets from bed bugs. We notified the night-shift guy at the front desk he came to our room, took a picture of the bed bugs, didn't even kill it, and told us all he could do was give us a new room and he we would have to wait until morning when his boss weighed in. He refused to call professionals about the bugs or take any action. He was very rude and implied that we brought the bugs to the hotel, despite only having just arrived (we found no signs of the bugs pre or post this hotel). Judging by the shape of our first room and the room we were moved to, we were given the worst room in the hotel, probably one they don't normally book. Not only did the hotel refuse to provide any compensation to us but they charged us for our night of bed bugs. They cost us an entire nights sleep, hundreds of dollars in laundry, cleaning supplies, and extra transporation, and precious time. They also destroyed all comfort and peace of mind for the entire rest of our trip, as we constantly worried about whether we had contracted bed bugs from the hotel and brought them wherever we went. Even if it weren't for the bed bugs, this hotel is in very poor condition. It needs to be completely remodeled, yet they are operating it anyway. I overheard another couple complaining that their air conditioning wasn't working. The rooms are dingy, poorly, lit, and poorly decorated. I don't know how they meet the requirements for a 4-star hotel but there are 3-star hotels better than this dump. When we moved to the new room, the iron doorknob came clean off the bathroom door and fell on my wife's foot. The sinks don't drain. The shower head was broken. The TV remote had corroded batteries in it, and it didn't work. The pictures of the hotel make it look like there is dining in the cave, but the cave is closed off and not part of operations. There's no room service. There is virtually no service; the hotel runs on a skeleton crew. It sounded liked the hotel was purchased by a new owner and they are waiting for approvals to do construction and remodel but are operating the dilapidated building in the meantime. Which is probably why they don't care about treating their patrons like dirt.

My friend and I stayed here and had a terrible experience. There were a lot of things wrong. We couldn’t open the door to our room, we had to have them open it whenever we needed to get in. Was given internet code and when we did it didn’t work. No customer service to speak of. The worst part was, we went out late and returned to our room and went to sleep. When I woke up I saw there was blood on my sheets and it was not from me. The manager came up with the housekeeper to look at the sheets. She said she changed them before we got there and the manager (John) was happy with that. I of course, was not. I held up my arms and said, I’m not bleeding anywhere. He offered no apology or concern whatsoever. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else. Disgusting and they could care less.

I recently stayed at the Prince de Conde and was thoroughly disappointed with my experience. The pictures online made the hotel look spacious and welcoming, but in reality, it was far from it. My room is clearly a hole. The room had no space even for luggage. I paid for a Superior Queen Room, and they gave me a hole. In addition, the phone in the room was not working at all so I had to go to reception everytime I needed something. The bathroom was particularly disappointing, everything fells down. The hotel staff was not helpful either, when I asked for a change of room they said "Just right a review and the owners will see it". The worst 2 parts were the lack of cleaning (they didnt even knock the door or asked if they want them to clean our room at all). Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Paris. I clearly overpaid and they sold me a room that was clearly not as the pictures. This hotel should be rated at 2 stars. Save your money and look elsewhere for accommodations.

Hotel was in PERFECT location, near lots of wonderful cafes, multiple metro stations, laundry and popular Paris sights. While room size was on the smaller side and air conditioning was not terribly efficient, you have to realize you’re in Paris, not the US! The bed was one of the most comfortable hotels beds we’ve ever had. Would not hesitate to book here again.

We booked a room in this 4 star hotel because it is 20 metres from the studio flat I lived in for a year when I was 18. Rue de Seine is a deligtful and lively street. We were told on arrival that the room was "not available" and we had been relocated to the 3 star sister hotel (Prince de Conti) in the very dull rue de Guenegaud where they attempted to charge us the same price (ultimately unsuccessfully, but only because we kept challenging the receptionists about it). Did they ever have a room for us in the Hotel Prince de Conde or was it scam to fill an empty room in adifferent hotel.? Don't touch this place with barge a pole.
