The hotel is located in a beautiful place in Paris, near shopping and dining facilities. If you sleep on the street side of the hotel, don't forget to make ears, because it is quite noisy at night, especially in the weekend. The staff were correct for the rest and the hotel room was clean.

The location is nice and close to the metro station, the staff are friendly and great services. The best part is that I made friends who had similar interests and wanted to explore Paris like I did. Would highly recommend for solo travelers the area is safe and convenient to anywhere you want to see within Paris🩷

Beautiful small hotel close to Parc de la Villette. Easy to find in front of the City Hall of Le Pre-Saint-Gervais. It was one night very pleasant with a very attractive price. You have the metro close and many shopping and restaurant options. The place is very quiet and clean. I enjoyed it.

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights, and I found myself good: the room was spacious and clean, the large bed, TV in the room, air conditioning. The staff at the reception have always been friendly and available.

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. On this trip to Paris, I was very worried about where to stay near the Eiffel Tower, but I really liked staying at the Novotel Real at Châtelet Station. First of all, the staff are very friendly, the hotel accommodations and bedding are all clean, and the rooms are cleaned every day! First of all, the accommodation itself was very nice. Also, there is an elevator that goes down to Châtelet Station right in front of the hotel, so you can go anywhere by going down, and it was really convenient to go to the airport all at once. Additionally, there were Korean restaurants, K-Mart, Five Guys, McDonald's, and Burger King all nearby the bakery in front, so it was really very convenient. Even when going to the Eiffel Tower, it's okay because you can take the bus or train within 10-15 minutes. I will stay here again when I go to Paris!

We booked this hotel in advance as part of our journey home from holiday for a few days to show the kids Paris. Admittedly i thought I booked closer to the centre of Paris. Booked a family room. Arrived..area wasn’t my vision of Paris and the room i booked was no longer avail due to renovations…we only found out upon arrival. However the staff were amazing at ensuring our stay went smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to rectify the issue. At no stage was anything a problem. Some of the best customer service I’ve encountered and the staff are a real credit to the Hotel. Area outside was probably more the ‘real’ Paris rather than the romantic version .You wouldn’t walk alone in the dark! . However location after got my head around everything was actually great. Felt safer here than i did around some of the tourist spots! Metro is literally yards across the road and you were in the heart of Paris in no time. We used the underground as its the best and cheapest way to get around the city. Highly recommend and we zipped around the city and got to see alot in 48 hours. Don’t be put off by other people’s reviews. No city hotel is perfect but the team here take pride in thier jobs. Accommodation is clean, modern. Car park is mega handy…albeit a tight and small underground one.

This is a good solution for families or couples with a longer stay. There is a small living room and bedroom as well as a kitchenette, which has everything necessary for a short stay. There is no air conditioning (that is not unusual in France, or Europe more generally) but I found it pleasant enough with the windows open, even though it was a hot period. Extra towels were available upon request. We ordered breakfast and it was acceptable. You probably don’t need it as the areas has plenty of bakeries as well as cafes and brasseries. There are also different metro stations within walking distance - so you can get into central Paris from the hotel within 30 minutes. Staff were very friendly and there was a car park underneath. I would definitely consider staying here again.

I don't expect luxury from a hostel, but I do expect cleanliness. On the surface the hostel appears clean. Most importantly, the bed sheets and mattress are clean. However, look beyond that and you'll see it's filthy and obviously never given a deep clean. Down the side of the lower bunk there is what must be months and months of rotten food, old socks, dirt and dust that has been allowed to collect. No wonder the room smells so musty and stuffy. My bunk had blood streaks from a squashed bug (and live mosquitoes flying about), as well as sticky finger prints all over the bed panels and window. Furthermore, the noise level is crazy. I understand on a Friday people want to party so the bar was blasting out music and the 1st floor rooms are not sound proof - I actually didn't mind that. What annoyed me was the fact that they were blasting music through the speakers in the 1st floor toilet/shower rooms. WHY?! This made the room and hallways even noisier. Its only saving grace is the location (and free wi-fi). It can feel a bit dodgy walking through there alone as a single woman at night, but so can any big city... The hostel is close to some great bars, restaurants, and tourist attractions (Père Lachaise Cemetery, for example). I'd recommend hiring a bike to get around - there's quite a few Vélib' bike stations a short walk away.
