Grand Powers Hotel

Paris|0.25km from The American Cathedral in Paris
From arriving to departing I have to say this hotel was fantastic. The staff are attentive, professional, friendly and all spoke excellent English which helped me feel at home during my stay in Paris. I had booked via a third party site but still received the pre arrival outreach from the hotel. A very nice touch and certainly something that set the expectations for excellent service. Location is excellent if you want to be near the Champs-Élysées and popular sightseeing locations such as the Eiffel Tower. Very easy to retreat to your hotel with the shopping you might do on Champs-Élysées! I was attending the final stage of the Tour de France so the hotel was in the perfect location for this. I booked an Executive room which was very spacious, included a sofa and a very nice bath and shower. Mini bar, coffee/tea facilities etc all more than adequate. I can't think of anything I'd add or change about the room but I will certainly book a room with a balcony or a better view next time. Food at the restaurant was very good. I do appreciate that the cost of the breakfast is the same in the restaurant and in your room. That's something I don't think I've come across in my travels but it's such a good idea. The web site/portal provided by the hotel for guests was also very good and easy to use. It made many things useful from reading newspapers to booking things like room service, taxis and private transfers (amongst many other things). The use of whatsapp to message customers daily was also a unique but helpful touch. This made it very easy to arrange things like taxis when I needed this. Overall, you've probably guessed by now, this is an excellent hotel that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others or stop at again myself.

Hotel Marceau Champs Elysees

Paris|0.18km from The American Cathedral in Paris
We stayed here for 2 nights in February, the hotel is boutique with a small reception area and sitting area. Check in was easy – but the room was not ready till 4pm, the hotel allowed us to store our bags and we then went off to explore Paris. The hotel is nicely situated in a bustling part of the city – a short walk from a number of restaurants and bars/shops, and just down from the Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Elysees. It is also a short 5-10min walk from a Metro station allowing access to all other parts of Paris. Our room was located on the top floor and was quiet – the room was large and included a small seating area, queen bed and large bathroom with walk in shower. The room included all the expected amenities including tea/coffee, TV, desk, mini bar. Our only complaint was that the TV only included French channels, there were no English speaking channels – not even the news. The bedroom was very comfortable, spacious and the large bathroom was also a good touch – including overhead walk-in shower. One major issue was that the windows are not sound proofed at all, and the road noise was very evident (despite being 5 floors up) – but most prominent was the church bells located next door, that start at around 8am most mornings, and go on for some time – it is impossible to sleep through these. We resorted to using earplugs, but these could only dampen the sound so much…..it wasn’t a huge problem as we wanted to be up and out to explore. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay at the hotel – and it is exactly what we wanted from a location perspective. The cost of the hotel was also very good considering its location. Overall, we would recommend this hotel providing you can deal with the road noise and church bells.

The whole feeling is very good on the hotel, the price is very high. Let's talk about a few shortcomings: wifi is very slow, and the room on the first floor is the roof. But relatively speaking, it is a very, very good hotel.

facility. location. Needless to say, it's the best. The staff are the worst. I changed the check-out time to 1pm, so I was packing my bags, but the housekeeping staff just came in. coming in. I checked out today and cleaned the curtains in the room. I asked why I was coming in and when I asked what my name was, I lied and said I couldn't speak English, and then ran away. Call the manager and ask. Although I'm sorry. I don't feel sincere. He called the employee and said he wanted an apology. say no Then, he told me to be patient because he would give me breakfast for free. Is this really the service of the Bulgari Hotel? The fitness said they gave you a protein shake for free, but when you brought it to the room, they said you had to pay for it,, I called again and asked. said free. There is really no communication between the staff and no communication. The French Paris system that really does the worst job and gets paid a lot.

Check-in went smoothly! Awesome 👍, if you ask for a confirmation number, you can get a quick response. This hotel is in a good location and the rooms are very comfortable. It's the style I like. However, if you make a last-minute reservation, the price is still high. Have to plan ahead next time!

This is my second time staying at this famous hotel. First time service was very good. However, with this stay it was great! From the moment we checked in we were made to feel so welcome and special. Sergio at the front desk with his colleague personally escorted us to our room, showing us the hotel renovations that have been done since our last stay. The excellent service continued throughout our stay, including morning room service, making this a most memorable trip. Bravo 👏
