Reviews for Paris Hotels

Hotel de Saint-Germain

On the plus side, the hotel was spotlessly clean, recently renovated, had a friendly reception on checking in. On the minus, as another reviewer noted, you hear the noise of the metro all through the hotel ( I was on the 3rd floor)(luckily it stops between 1am and 5am 🙃). The room is quite cramped, the tiny elevator is very cramped, there’s not much space in the breakfast room. There was no water glass provided in my room - to encourage guests to buy a bottle of water at reception? While we were staying there was an electrical problem connected to a fire alarm, which meant no wifi for about 12 hours… I was here for work so didn’t pay myself, but the hotel seems expensive for what it is, even given the nice location. There are other nicer options in Paris.
Hotel Saint Pierre

There were no categorical minuses, only obvious pluses. The hotel does not provide a transfer, we took a taxi from booking. We checked in late at night - without any additional payments, as in other hotels. Great location, we were accommodated in a small but cozy room (room 46) on the 7th floor, from one window you could see Notre Dame and Sacré Coeur, and from the other the Eiffel Tower, special thanks for such views. All sights are within easy reach , from the hotel to the Tower on the Seine, an hour's walk, as well as to the Sacré-Coeur, not far from delicious bakeries (bakery is love !!!), shops, pharmacies and the metro, where you can get directly to Disneyland and Versailles. Cleaning in the room every day - take out the trash, change towels, fill the bed. Were in the winter - heating due to air conditioning and an electric battery. Soap, cups, shower gel and shampoo are provided, but there are no slippers and there is not enough curtain in the shower. At the reception there is a map of Paris, if suddenly someone needs it, a brochure with excursions, if necessary, you can ask for a corkscrew) Very beautiful elevator Thank you very much for your hospitality, I definitely recommend
Hotel Jean Bart

We have just got back from Paris where we stayed at Jean Bart Hotel. We booked the last room available which was a twin but when we checked in we got a double room which was a bonus for us as we were travelling as a couple. Hotel is in a really good location and was the cheapest we found when booking. Room was clean and bathroom was lovely (really good shower!). Did lack toilet roll which we asked for more but they didn't seem to keep the stock up, that was our only negative. Our room was overlooking the street so was noisy in the morning but that didn't bother us, it is a busy city after all! We didn't have breakfast at the hotel so can't comment on that, but there was a lovely patisserie just down the road and a couple of corner shops on the same street too which was handy. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay here and the hotel was excellent value for money! Would stay again!
Grand Hotel des Balcons

This hotel is on a quiet street yet only steps away from the Boulevard St. Germain and the Odeon metro stop. It has been very cleverly designed so that all rooms have balconies and are spacious enough with adequately sized and equipped bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and the water hot in the shower, though for some strange reason not in the basin. The staff were helpful and polite and we were able to leave. our luggage there on the last day without any problem.
Hotel le Clement

Very nice stay. The location in Saint Germain is ideal for nice walks to Notre Dame, Le Marais, and all. Clean and charming, and tucked away so it is very quiet. You pay a little more than some small hotels, but it is worth it. Staff is helpful and polite.
