Reviews for Paris Hotels

Mercure Paris Opera Louvre

Old style hotel which i liked, room was clean and comfortable bed and good shower but that is where the good ended. Location is not the best, not many restaurants around, quite a walk to the Louvre. Be aware there is a tiny lift but there are more stairs on each floor to negotiate with suitcases. I am loyal to Accor and feel as a gold member I received zero benefits. Room was not ready at 3pm (2pm check in) and had to wait with no chairs to sit on, no welcome drink offered, probably the worst room in the hotel, booking said city view instead we had a lovely view of an internal wall and windows on the 3rd floor, incredibly difficult to get a 1 hour late check out, constantly fobbed off to next shift, when finally granted the cleaners kept coming in so we gave up and left. Staff were unwelcoming and generally unhelpful. Felt as if I might have just walked in off the street instead of spending a lot of money this year in Accor hotels, in fact most of the Ibis hotels we used had better rooms and staff. Definitely better hotels in Paris
Citadines Opera Paris - Europe

Very good checking. The place is kept clean and fresh . Corridor maybe need a bit a colors ,I found them very sad. We book a suite”couture” appartement, absolutely beautiful and clean ,nothing to say .it is a small reproduction of Dior Avenue montaigne flagship store. I have noted 4 as the next time I will make sure we are not in the courtyard by the entrance as you can heard all the late customers coming back at night very late and it is very annoying as they used their mobile phone. The hotel direction should ban peoples talking or smoke outside in the courtyard after midnight. The hotel appt is very easy to access in a quiet street. Breakfast too expensive, head outside to that lovely bakery on the corner.
Hotel Westminster

This is my second time staying at Hôtel Westminster. When I got there, there’s an American guess who complained about seeing scaffolding outside her windows. She wanted to have a room where she could open the window, got some fresh air, and had a good view. I observed that the registration person was very polite and complied to her demand. I also got what I asked for which was a room with two beds instead of a queen bed. I called while on route to the hotel, and when I got there my room was ready. The food was very good for breakfast that was included. I didn’t care about the view because, while in Paris, I went out all day anyway. Overall excellent location and excellent service. I will stay there again next time I go to Paris. Highly recommended!
Lyric Hotel Paris Opera
4.4/599 Reviews
The location of this hotel was very good, just around the corner from a metro station, within easy walking distance from the Opera and transport from the airport, and good restaurants, bars and a small supermarket very close by. We had booked a Classic room which was on the top floor and along one side of the room, there were the eaves which made it very difficult to get around the bed, you could easily bang your head if you forgot to duck down and we did. There was only one small wardrobe and we struggled for space a little, the same in the bathroom with not enough shelf space for toiletries etc. The design of the units could have been planned better. We had booked a breakfast package in the deal, but when we arrived, they told us that only breakfast for one person had been booked as there was only one name on the booking. It does clearly say that breakfast for 2 persons each day was included and that was written on the printout that I showed them and on the booking confirmation online but I took their word for it and we had to pay again. I should have checked again more properly myself on the paper. So now we have the hassle of trying to claim this back from the hotel. We chose this hotel mainly for the pool and spa facilities, which were very welcoming after lots of walking about in the day and located in the basement with a small gym room and the breakfast area which was well stocked with a good choice of foods. The staff were always friendly and helpful, and you felt at ease but I felt that the price was a little too high for the standard of the hotel and room that we had.
Hotel Saint-Marc

The rooms are large, well equipped and service is very good. Walk to Lafayette for 10 minutes. Going out all the taxis, did not pay attention to the distance of the subway station, the front desk can help call the car, English is great. There are several restaurants within a 100-metre walk. The only thing that is not satisfactory for the plug, the number is too small, the bed can only be used to pull out the phone base.
Le Rayz Vendome
4.2/550 Reviews
This time when I went to Paris, I happened to encounter the general strike since 1995, but the location of RAYZ is too superior. It is about 5 minutes walk from Vendome Square, and it is basically within 30 minutes of walking wherever I go. The interior design of the room is comfortable, and even parents praise the value for money
