The Cactai is a lovely very small intimate hotel. There is no front office or reception. Just a few rooms surrounding a beautiful pristine swimming pool with white lounge chairs and yellow striped towels. Our superior room was enormous- almost like an apartment- and was tastefully decorated in colorful spartan Palm Springs style. The bathroom was spacious with a roomy walk in shower and Japanese bidet toilet. All new and recently renovated. This room offered a kitchen but it lacked a freezer in the fridge (which was problematic as I brought many frozen items when I arrived assuming there was a freezer-which all went to waste). Also the smell of room cleaning products used prior to our arrival was really much too strong and windows needed to be opened to try to get rid of it. Housekeeping is on request by sign you put on door and the day I wanted it, they never came. But Monty, the concierge, was immediately helpful to provide service. He personally brought fresh clean towels to our room (which, by the way, are fluffy and thick). All in all, our 7 night stay at The Cactai was very pleasant.

This is a great location - close to downtown but feels quiet and peaceful. The outdoor area is great with lots of seating around the pool and a hot tub. I love the details in the room - from the bright wallpaper to the mid century furniture - everything gives off a very Palm Springs vibe. Everything was very comfortable as well. It was nice to have our own patio for quiet times too.

I highly recommend The Cactai as a great place for a couples getaway. I came here for a fall weekend. The room was recently renovated, and we loved the modern decor. Chilling by the pool in the afternoons was great and we met some great people. If you’re looking for boutique hotel with a quaint atmosphere, this is your place.

We had a fantastic time! Great new spot in Palm Springs. Love the attention to detail. Super comfy bed, Japanese toilets, stocked mini bar and cool decor. Great spot to relax with friends and close to all the fun downtown restaurants and shops. Love the vibe, can’t wait to come back!

The hotel recently underwent renovations. The rooms are beautiful, the pool is great and the location top notch. Our family really enjoyed our stay last week as we explored the Palm Springs area. If you’re looking for a smaller, boutique hotel, The Cacti is definitely worth checking out.

I recently stayed at The Cactai in Palm Springs, and I can’t say enough good things about it! If you’re looking for a quiet, stylish, and adult-only retreat, this is the place to be. My room was spotless, comfortable and the attention to detail really stands out. The pool is a lovely spot to relax and I spent most of my afternoons lounging on one of the daybeds. The location is great, close to everything but still quiet and peaceful. The staff were super responsive via text answering any questions we had. If you’re looking for a stylish and relaxing getaway, The Cactai is the place to be. I’ll definitely be back!
