4 of us rented two rooms with two queen beds for three nights. Unfortunately the rooms have not been updated or maintained so you're dealing with rattling windows that don't close all the way, caulk coming off of the tub, poor ventilation in the bathroom, only one drawer to try and share, worn carpet, and one small nightstand to share. There is also significant air in the pipes so when you turn on the water at the one small sink the air causes the water to shoot all over the very small countertop. For a room with two queen beds the bathroom is very small and there is no storage. Also; the sink didn't drain well. The main pool area is crowded because they don't have the bar open at the other pool that's available. Also, the hot tub is filled with children 95% of the time which doesn't allow adults to enjoy it. On Friday evening we dropped in at the lobby bar to have a nightcap. The bar was short staffed and the bartender was in an exasperated state so was quite rude. The only bright spot for our stay was the food quality from the JWB restaurant. The prices are ridiculous but at least the food was delicious. With fees and taxes we spent over $500 per night. I've stayed at much better maintained hotels for half that price. Will definitely stay elsewhere the next time we're in Palm Springs.

The environment and location of the hotel are ok, but the service is not satisfactory. Ctrip stated that the in-store breakfast plus $11, but the hotel charged $38 according to the rack rate, communicated with the front desk, and showed the Ctrip order note, but let us find Ctrip. The parking fee was obviously $18, and the credit card charge was $25. Later, I went to Ctrip's customer service to recover it. Ctrip's after-sales service is as good as always. The hotel’s random chargeback phenomenon, I still hope that the friends who stay in check the bill.

Super nice staff and a location right in the middle of the main stretch of Palm Springs. Free shuttle to and from the airport!
They had fun events like karaoke and bingo on Thursday & Friday. Pool and hot tub were decent. The room itself is big, but kinda dirty. Our room didn't have a view but the price was right.

I love the free airport shuttle. The view from the high-rise terrace was really nice. Rooms close to the lift are noisy. But the noise was tolerated by the great view. The location is really great.

Staff were helpful and pleasant throughout my stay. Food was delicious. Only complaint would be the pool being very warm so much so that it wasn’t refreshing. Perhaps they could improve this by adding some kind of shading to the pool area. Otherwise a wonderful stay in a central location.

Don't come to Palm Springs in the summer, it's too hot....the hotel doesn't have breakfast, don't like it. The room is slightly old, not very new, it should be refurbished.... will not come again. The room has a balcony, open to the mountain view
We found a neglected treasure — a mid-century desert modern former Westward Ho with a Denny’s — dusted it off, gave it some love and made it into Ace Hotel & Swim Club. Our 179-room hotel, spa and resort in Palm Springs, California is within biking distance of downtown and close to cool stuff like Joshua Tree, the Salton Sea, Salvation Mountain, all kinds of historic desert modern architecture and tons of great vintage shopping. It's also the best place in Palm Springs to get a laid-back massage or natural treatment at the Feel Good Spa, by the pool or in your room. Two big pools, a vintage photobooth, award-winning room service, free WiFi and a gym round out the basics. Bring your kids, bring your dog— we're family and pet-friendly. There is a big event space where you can get married, throw a party or have a big-deal meeting. The design is organic and bohemian. Some rooms have a garden patio or a fireplace. Some have record players and old vinyl you can play in your room and take home with you for a few bones. There are also communal fireplaces located throughout the hotel. There's bath products from Uka, and minibars with really addictive caramel popcorn. We collaborate with friends to curate amazing music for the lobby and poolside, and on weekends there's a DJ scene at the pool. Almost every night there's something going on at the Amigo Room bar — live music, DJs, bingo, crafting, karaoke and the occasional special event like our annual Craft Beer Fest. It's open late, so join the party whenever. We also throw parties with live music and DJs during Coachella, Gay Pride, White Party and Dinah Shore.

The Ace Hotel & Swim Club is a modern desert oasis with 2 deep pools, a spa, a gym and close to downtown Palm Springs. I enjoyed my Ace Suite with King bed, upscale living area with vintage furniture like a steamer trunk, guitar, record player and more. There was a private patio, fireplace and bath with a shower & tub. I relished the meals at the onsite Kings Highway (modern roadside diner) especially the Belgian waffles and breakfast burritos. The Feel Good Spa offers guest a laid-back massage and other spa treatments. I opted for the Deep Goodness Bodywork treatment to alleviate my tension and soreness. So, if you are looking for a hotel with a desert chic, natural hot springs and a mountain backdrop............then try the ..........Ace Hotel & Swim Club..............a resort framed by a mountain backdrop and modern homes.

Outstanding
GGuest UserFriendly reception staff and quiet location. The jacuzzi and the stars in the sky were fantastic. The yogurt and free slushies served for breakfast were also delicious. I told the manager Amanda I would come back next time.
GGuest UserThis resort, a mid century built style, is a perfect place to enjoy your time visiting the Palm Springs area. The property has a total of 56 one and two bedroom units. Forty units are downstairs and sixteen are located upstairs. There are no elevators. All units have a covered parking space and there are additional uncovered spaces for guests. Many of the units have a beautiful view of the mountains. We stayed in a one bedroom unit. It has a large living room, containing a sleeper/sofa, love seat and side chair. There is also a flat panel cable television and a fireplace. The dining room has seating for four and the kitchen is an alright size, having all the essential equipment you would expect to find. All units have a nice patio with a barbeque grill. The bedroom has a king bed and two closets, a chest of drawers and a comfortable chair. There is also a flat panel television in this room. Lighting in both the bedroom and living room are good. Two bathrooms complete the unit. One bath is off the living room and has a tub/shower combo. The other bathroom is off the bedroom. It has a standalone shower, with 3 shower heads and steam. The steam timer is on the wall next to the light switch, by the bathroom door. Both bathrooms have solar tube lighting and a timed light for night time use, however, there is no nightlight or the ability to have a light on for navigating to the bathroom overnight. There are 2 swimming pools and 3 spas on the property. There is also a restaurant directly adjacent. Tennis and racquetball courts are on property as well as a fitness center and sauna. They also offer complimentary use of bicycles. The lobby area has an area inside for small gatherings and an outside covered area near the large pond with comfortable seating, coffee available in the morning, and a barbecue grill. A coin operated laundry is located on property. The grounds are immaculate and the employees are friendly and courteous. The property is located within easy travel distance to downtown Palm Springs and other valley cities. Shopping is an easy walking distance from the property.
BBurgeWhat a beautiful, quaint and charming little hotel! I’ve always wanted to stay here in the past but I was so happy that a room was available on this visit. What wonderful customer service the entire visit. We stayed two nights and were so relaxed! Such a quiet place and walking distance to so many awesome restaurants not to mention the ****** is right across the street. The pool and jacuzzi was open 24 hours a day which was amazing for a late night swim under the palms and full moon. Highly recommend this boutique! Can’t say enough great things about it.
This was my second visit to the Del Marcos. First trip was back in 2021 and I can say that he quality of the property has gone down hill since 2021. There is wear and tear on many surfaces. Lots of paint touch up needed and many pieces of furniture need to be repaired or replaced. The pool loungers are in DESPERATE need of replacement. Some of them fell through while we were laying on them and they are very sun bleached. The bedding in our room felt old and or cheap. Pillows were the saddest pillows I've ever used. There was no working overhead light or fan in our bathroom, so they put a standing lamp in there. Just felt cheap. The included breakfast feels like they really lowered the quality as well. Still decent but a bit disappointing for the pricepoint of this hotel. The hotel itself is such an iconic space but it is being left in disrepair which is really sad. Back in 2021, it was probably one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at, and while this time, we still had a really nice time and enjoyed the space, I felt like the price point no longer matches the quality. I do not splurge very often on pricey nice hotels like this so it was a bit disappointing. The staff were all so friendly and wonderful.
TTAOThe hotel is only on the side of the road. The road is not busy, so it is not noisy. It is very easy to find with Google Maps. It is actually the most common two-storey motel in the United States. The environment is not bad. It is surrounded by palm trees and has free on-site parking. There is a swimming pool, warm front desk service, complete room facilities, TV, refrigerator, microwave, gourmet coffee machine, no kettle (like a microwave oven), air conditioner refrigerator is very noisy, American hotel hotels do not provide disposable toothbrush slippers. The breakfast room is very small, three tables, 7-9 o'clock, weekend to 10 o'clock, not many varieties (eggs, sliced bread, homemade waffles, cereal milk, coffee, soda, apple), but there is absolutely no problem to eat. The room has a balcony with a coffee table chair, and the big bed parents have a child to live without stress. As a self-driving tour stop, it is still very good, value for money!
GGuest UserThe location is fantastic. There are plenty of good restaurants, bars, shops within walking distance and walking is easy since the city of Palm Springs is basically flat! I parked in the hotel lot and walked everywhere I wanted to go. The hotel does not have a restaurant or bar but I knew this when I booked so no problem. They do have a small cantina type room where you can buy snacks, some sandwiches, drinks, coffee, etc and ice machines everywhere. The service was very good, all employees where helpful and friendly. My room was very clean and good sized with a large bathroom. The room location was also good, on the ground floor near the pool with a view of a parklike courtyard. The pool was large and crowded (I arrived on Saturday afternoon) and everyone seemed to be having a good time. I took a dip the next morning right after maintenance finished cleaning the pool and was the only one there, it was great! I will definitely stay again at the Palm Mountain Resort.
GGuest UserFirst, let me lay ground to be taken as credible. When saying an employee was kind to customers, the first thing to realize is first and foremost an employee must work in the interest of their employer, whether the DMV, a bank, or a unified school district. Being kind at the expense of the person providing a paycheck is not acceptable. The goal, rarely achieved, is being simultaneously professional and kind while working, in this case, in the best interests of the Cole Hotel. You will find a similarity in other reviews of good customer service. I was afraid I would be disappointed as the the ”bar” had been raised too high. Not so. GOOD service from EVERYONE, and a good overall experience. A coupe of remarks, keeping in mind I rate the hotel a 5: The hotel is significantly above downtown, away from the downtown PS vibe. On the other hand, once in your car, you are three minutes away from the experience, so don't let that stop you. (Its getting increasingly harder to find a parking space in downtown, yes.) The hotel markets on their website two separate, unrelated, on-site dining experiences/companies for hotel guests. During lunchtime we ordered a hamburger poolside but was informed we could not order until 3pm, and indeed they held us to that. However, the hotel's website states: ”Exclusively Open to Hotel Guests from 10AM – 11PM” (Implying, if a hotel guest, you may order before 3pm.)
VveronicaI booked a standard room for 400 per night, which can accommodate four people. The swimming pool is nice. The desert area is very hot, so I stayed there for one night. There are delicious food nearby. The first room I stayed in was leaking, so I was immediately moved to another one. There were many Americans staying, and it is a cheap hotel. Free parking is very cost-effective. There is a smoking burger nearby, which tastes great!
The rooms were very basic. No frig. No microwave. No coffeemaker. No shampoo. Only one hard chair. But, for the most part they were clean although the bed had a noticeable dip in it and our sink faucet was super loose. They were in the middle of repaving the parking lot when were there and we had to move our car to the side where there were homeless people near the parking area which was a little disconcerting at far as security. Despite it's faults, we had a decent night's sleep with little road noise and the price was more reasonable than we found anywhere else in the area. All of the staff we encountered were so friendly and helpful. The gentleman that checked us in, was engaging and claimed I looked like Reba McEntire. Lol. He also stopped us in the parking lot to recommend the margaritas at the local Mexican restaurant. When I checked out in the morning, Jeff asked how our stay had been and made me smile when I turned to leave and he said ”We'll leave the light on for you!” After checking out we realized we needed a key card to access the ice machine for our small cooler. Without hesitation, Jeff offered to make my husband a new key card to accommodate our needs. We were super impressed with the customer service which has not been our experience at most budget motels. If we were staying in the area longer we would probably opt for a motel with more amenities and creature comforts, but for one night, it met our needs and we would stay here again.
SSotoThe cleaning of the room was the only issue for me. There was a bandaid on the top edge of the shower and one of the towels had hair ball on it. The floors we’re swept but not cleaned. Other than that it was what I expected for a short noticed booking. I did get a small refund for my stay which is why gave it high customer service marks.
