The nice lady who checked me in gave me a vague description of where I should park to best access my room. I attempted to get clarification but she motioned as if it was common knowledge where I should go. So, it shouldn't be too surprising that I parked in the wrong place, but didn't realize this until after I had unloaded my luggage. After loading my car back up and re-parking, I was disappointed by the overall appearance of the property. As soon as you get through the southeast security gate, the property looks rather run down and outdated. Some areas looked fine. The elevator floor had old, blue duct tape on the ground attempting to hold together who knows what. That was unsightly and surprising. My first room was ok, aside from the large stain near the refrigerator area. However, I had to change rooms since there was a loud rumble coming from one of the vents that would prevent a good night sleep. When I called the front desk to express my concern, the front desk knew exactly what I was talking about and offered to have me switch rooms. The second room was quiet and comfortable, although I could not get the shower hot enough.
While the breakfast is advertised as cook to order (if I recall the wording correctly), that service is not available when they open, or even soon thereafter. There was a sign that suggested an omelet could be ordered at a certain spot in the dining area but no one was there to take the order. The other food offerings were good.
