The Reef House Adults Retreat

We recently had the most relaxing stay at The Reef House, where you could do as much or as little as you like, with so many activities included there is something for everyone. The staff were wonderful and went out of their way to do what they could to enhance our experience for which we are truly grateful. We stayed in a verandah spa suite which had so many well-thought-out little touches making our stay so comfortable that we didn’t want to leave. Breakfast overlooking the beach as the sun rose over the Coral Sea was the perfect start to the day. Lunch by the pool and the nightly dinners were lovely with superb food and such friendly service from all the waitstaff. The degustation was the highlight of our dining experiences and being a more prolonged meal with so many delicious courses and such attentive service, it only heightened the ambience and romance - we would highly recommend it. The day spa had so many indulgent treatments on offer, we chose the 75 min wellness massages which were individually tailored to our needs and just heavenly. What bliss! We loved our stay at the Reef House and definitely left feeling rested, rejuvenated, and rebalanced. We hope to make it a regular getaway.

Amazing tropical getaway in a superb location - right in the middle of Williams Esplanade in the sleepy quiet locale of Palm Cove surrounded by lush tropical gardens, palms and soaring majestic melaleuca trees. The attentive and friendly team make you feel very welcomed, and you are encouraged to relax and savour your stay. Every tiny detail is taken care of. The dining area of the front deck is a highlight- enjoy your breakfast facing the coconut palms and ocean right in front of you in a serene location and let the world go by! The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated in line with the beachy feel. Cannot wait to come back!

Our week at Reef House Beach Resort in Palm Cove was a parallel world of pure rest & relaxation. The resort overlooks the Coral Sea with beautiful morning & evening sunrises & sunsets viewed from the open air restaurant. Staff were truly wonderful in all areas of the resort. Service & attention to detail were exemplary. Our accommodation, although not up-to-date chic & modern, was really quiet & very in keeping with the history & tradition of the establishment. The signature inclusions meant our stay was good value for money!

Stayed at The Reef House with a group of friends for 4 nights. The resort was gorgeous. Food was delicious. Super conveniently located, close to restaurants, cafes and shops, and right on the water - perfect for sunrise and sunset beach walks. The resort has a few pools and jacuzzis of varying temperatures so there’s always somewhere nice to swim no matter the weather. The staff were a highlight - really friendly, knowledgeable and keen to help. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners were all really great. The rooms were comfortable, spacious and always beautifully cleaned. The beds and pillows were also extremely comfy. Highly recommend this place whether you just want a relaxing holiday or a base from which to explore Palm Cove / Cairns / Port Douglas and The Great Barrier Reef.

Great location , great views when dining and great luxury/ style - the reef house offers great meals and along the esplanade there are others places to go and eat .

This was the 2nd time my partner and I have stayed at The Reef House. We travelled up from Canberra, 2,000km away and wouldn’t hesitate to do it again. Location is perfect. The staff were always helpful, courteous and friendly. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, with all the necessary facilities. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the restaurant, food was cooked exactly how we liked it and was of excellent quality. Prices were comparable with other local eating establishments. We really couldn’t give them a higher recommendation, definitely 5 star.
