The St. Regis Aruba Resort

It’s very disappointing we stayed in many other St Regis This one doesn’t even look like I feel like it was a Marriott. I will not recommend anyone.

The hotel is new and clean. We loved that toddlers ate for free at the restaurant. We had no issues with grabbing a seat by the beach. Location was convenient and it was easy to walk to nearby restaurants for dinner. The one issue we had was with the butler service. It was almost non-existent. We had to call like 10 times to get items ironed. At some point we just called for an iron to be delivered to the room. They brought an iron with residue on the back and we couldn’t use it. They eventually offered to take 6 items and ironed them. We got them back within an hour.

The property overall is mismanaged. We were given an “upgraded” room that faced dumpsters and construction. Then we were moved to an interior room with no balcony. The property overcharges for everything, including a resort fee of $100 USD a day for basically nothing. It was not worth the price and they did nothing to address our concerns the entire time there. I would expect management to do something to make our stay better especially considering how much we spent on the resort.

Celebrated my 50th bday here in March. We had an oceanview room, was very pleased with the view overlooking ocean, beach and pool area. Balcony was quite big! Really nice! Customer service very friendly and accommodating.They were on top of their game! Great choices for dining. Would definitely stay again but not in high wind season! The L shape design of the resort building causes the pool area to be super windy, not pleasant to enjoy drinks or swim in the pool, water felt pretty cold. Beach area felt a bit less windy, but it was a challenge to get chairs, seemed like you had to show up early to get them. The resort beach is pretty small to accomodate everyone.Other than that really enjoyed our stay!

The service and staff were excellent! We couldn’t have asked for anything more. It was wonderful!

The facility and amenities were both fantastic . The service was top notch and attentive. The beach was small and crowded but the beach staff did their best to accommodate the guests. I would return !!

Beautiful resort, even more beautiful location, and EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE was professional, friendly, and helpful. The room was as spacious and had everything we needed. Can’t wait to return!!

-The hotel is nicely appointed, and the workers could not have been more accommodating. -The pools are not heated and I did not step a foot into any of them all week which is terrible. It was cool with the breeze and the pools were uncomfortably cool. Hardly anybody used them. A disgrace. -The Cabanas were dingy and nothing but a large bed framed in aluminum. Terrible for the money, very disappointed - felt cheated. -Sorry to say the Hyatt did much better in these areas when we stayed there. Heated pools and luxurious cabanas for the same price (they had TV's, Couch, Refrigerator, better complimentary snacks and drinks). -The beach is too small and very crowded, not what you expect from a luxury hotel of this brand.
