The location , staff and our room overlooking the lake made for an exceptional week in Paipa . The hotels location makes walks into town and along the lake convenient . Our room was kept immaculately clean , the food in the hotel restaurant and in other nearby restaurants was excellent . Above all , our stay was made exceptional by the kindness of the entire staff of this hotel and the beauty of Paipa and its citizens . From here you are nearby Duitama , Nobsa , Tibasosa , the Thermales and the Lanceros monument and many other attractions . Additionally , buses run regularly from Paipa to and from Bogota , Tunja and elsewhere .

Reserve la suite del hotel entre el 3 y 6 de noviembre de 2023 para el tri de paipa, la peor elección. Aunque reservé por Booking, me pidieron que pagara directamente. Aseguraron que la tarjeta de crédito no servía, pero no había ningún problema. Desde el primer momento el baño de la suite empezó a oler a cañería, con un olor que se percibía en toda la habitación. Al informar a recepción indicaron que pasa siempre que llueve. El hotel se quedó sin agua al medio día del sábado 4 de noviembre. Nunca hubo agua caliente, pese a cobrar por ese servicio. Cada vez que tenia que entrar al baño debia subir baldes. Al día siguiente el problema de agua persistió. Al comunicarme con el administrador su respuesta es que el domingo no es horario laboral. El parqueadero del hotel es un anden en la calle, los carros no quedan protegidos. La peor elección en Paipa, un hotel pretencioso sin servicios esenciales garantizados

El lugar se siente todo nuevo, los espacios son amplios. Las personas que nos atendieron aunque amables al parecer no conocen bien el sistema de reservas. Pero lo peor de todo fue que siendo pareja con niño y habiendo pagado cuadruple nos dieron cama de 1.20 m, no me había pasado ni en hoteles de 30 mil pesos en zonas apartadas.
