We received a warm welcome although late in the evening. Dinner was served efficiently and was extremely good. As I have a slight disability we were kindly given a suite on the ground floor which was furnished to a high standard and the bathroom was large with facilities. The hotel had lovely outside gardens and the sea was across the road and could be seen from the hotel. Everyone was very helpful and made a perfect end to a distressing day. Cannot praise the hotel and staff enough. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

The photos on ********** don't do this property any justice, whilst it looks pleasant enough we booked it expecting it to be a bit dated and for the pool area to pretty much be just a splash pool but were prepared to accept that as it was in an area that we wanted to be near, cleaniness and service is more important than decor and the price was great compared to everything else round about but we were really pleased on arrival as the hotel is lovely! Its a beautiful building, the rooms are huge and the staff were great! Yes it could do with a bit of modernisation, especially the bathroom and the air con but it was clean, comfortable and the pool area is a great wee space to chill out and the breakfast was ideal to set you up for the day. It is located about 30 mins drive to Lisbon city and about 20 mins from the town of Cascais (which is well worth a visit), there are 2 train stations near the hotel which give you access to many of the towns nearby. Would def stay here again if we ever go back to this area of Portugal.

The worst experience regarding service. The bartender kept us waiting for more than five minutes, while sitting in the reception talking to the receptionist! Arrogant and impolite! The receptionist couldn’t answer any of our questions about the hotel. We were given a room with a pilar in front of the window, and asked if we could get a new one. The answer was simply “No”. The room is old and fungus is visible in several places inside the room. We do not recommend thus hotel to anyone!

We couldn't believe such a beautiful hotel for the price and its right across from the beach. The grounds are beautiful throughout. The beautiful rooms are spacious and very clean. Guest service desk is 24-hours and continental breakfast. Entered room with a large, well arranged, room-service looking tray. I wish we had time for the spa!

The view from the suite of the hotel was incredible. Gorgeous view and balcony. The room was average. I requested a queen size bed for my partner and I and got two fulls together. The furniture is outdated and old. The bathroom was dusty and the light kept flickering. Loud construction next door that was annoying. Average hotel, great view. Pretty pricey…

My partner and I spent two nights here after a city hotel, for some relaxation. We considered the price reasonable (~100 Euros per night). The pool and restaurant area are just what we needed. The pool is right above the highway but most of the time you wouldn't notice. The view of the Tagus meeting the Atlantic is beautiful any time of day. The food in the restaurant was good, we particularly enjoyed breakfast. The hotel partners with a local masseuse, Nikita, who did a fantastic job on my over-worked legs. Two days prior, we had hiked at Sintra and Cabo da Roca lighthouse, down to Praia da Aroeira, which left me incredible sore, still (also definitely worth it and highly recommended). I walked out feeling more relaxed and in less pain. If you stay at this hotel, the massage is not to be missed, for only 40 Euros (plus tip, because c'mon, we're all good people here). The room was comfortable, although we had a small aircon issue where the air would not get cold enough for my hot-natured partner. With the windows open and the breeze, I was comfortable. The bed was sufficient for a good night's sleep, though more pillows would have been appreciated.
