The location is superior, the transportation is convenient, and the supporting facilities are abundant.

Euro Bar, Hotel, “ Worst Pub Hotel in Oxford ” Dire, probably the worst Hotel in Oxford. Ignorant staff with a bad attitude. Most rooms are rented out for those on housing benefits. A lot of *********ings going on in the bar. In a beautiful tourist town with such a wide variety of quality pubs and hotels , I Strongly Advice Avoid Euro Bar Hotel.

Absolutely awful..was more like a student accommodation. Room not to clean, mould in shower n tepid water. Tatty old orange curtain n very bad condensation on the inside of the window which was right nxt the single bed my young daughter was in. Stains on the top bedding of the double bed I was in. Broken wardrobe n full of stuff Very noisy from the bar underneath. This was a birthday treat from my daughter as she took me to a show for 1 night away n we couldn't get out quick enough the nxt morning..in fact we left at 8.30am the following day. No one around to talk to once we checked in..was given a piece of paper with door key code on it n 4 attempts to get into room. There was piles of washing ect on the stairs you had navigate past to get yo room. No heating n window in the hall outside room was wide open n couldn't shut it. In all apart from the show it was appalling experience n upsetting. Pictures on Web was nothing like the actual place. Also cost £45 to stay in the carpark for 24 hours

This place is revolting, there is mold on the carpet, the bedsheets, pillow and chair had staines on them. The room "key" was a post it note with a code written on it, the toilet was clogged when I tried to use it. The noise from the bar downstairs would have made it impossible to sleep. I'm glad I left without sleeping there. For anyone thinking on staying here avoid at all costs this place is repugnant.

Genuinely still laughing at this hotel experience. My boyfriend and I did not even stay the night, we took one look in our room and walked straight back out. Don’t even get me started on the room keys… oh wait there aren’t any! We were given POST IT NOTES as our room key which is just hilarious, it’s genuinely almost unbelievable. Mould growing everywhere in the room, dirt stains on the floor, bed, everywhere really. Walls are peeling, exposed wires. False advertisement at its finest! Still laughing about the post it notes, never have we experienced anything like this.

Shower broken. Either scalding or freezing. Paint peeling off the walls. Lights over the beds didn’t work. Handrail on the stairs broken. Glad we didn’t spend much time there. Good location. Very overpriced for the state of the place. Bedroom door looked like it had been kicked in. Didn’t feel very safe.

Not as dire as most of the other reviews. Just average and ok for a quick one night stay. All of the Oxford hotels are pricey so this was the only one in my budget, though it is still dated and needs more updating. I knew I was there just for one night to crash and would be out first thing in morning onto next destination. Bus station is behind and train station a few blocks so very accessible arriving with luggage (though long stairs only). Easy to get to all shops and sights. Only other issue was lack of plug outlets for two people needing to charge phones and devices. Ok if you are not fussy and just crashing for a night then leaving.

Good if you are blind, deaf and have no sense of smell. Stayed for 1 night (a Wednesday night). The windows didn’t close properly so it felt like I was trying to sleep in a smoking area of a club with bass vibrating the room until 12.30am. After the music stopped I had to listen to people shouting in the street until 3am with coaches also going past every 10 minutes or so. Decor very dated like someone’s nans house. Bit of a funky smell. When I turned up there was a drunk person asleep in the doorway. Worst night sleep I’ve ever had. This room was ludicrously priced at £80

This is a very old and dirty hotel. There is a strange smell throughout the hotel and the carpets are filthy. The rooms are worn, with wall paper peeled off the walls. Our room only had a sink and the hot water tap was impossible to turn on. There wasn’t even a toilet in the room. I asked to change rooms ( for a cleaner room and a toilet) and was told there were none available. There was noise coming from a nightclub until the early hours. Woken up at 5am from all the buses starting their engines literally behind the hotel. There are no keys to your room. Instead you are given a code on a post-it note to get into the hotel and your individual room. We did not feel safe leaving our belongings in the room. We had no choice but to stay the night but I would avoid at all costs.
