"The hotel is very centrally located near the shopping street and all the sights. The rooms were simple but fine and very clean. At reception, we were even spoken to in German (well, half-German, but okay). The hotel advertises that you can park in the nearby parking garage using the APK Parking app, and that you can also get a discount from the hotel. We parked and then asked the hotel about the discount and were told that you can't get a discount with the APK app, only if you enter with a ticket. This isn't mentioned on the website, though. But hey, it wasn't that much more expensive. The room was very, very cold, and there was no way to set the air conditioning to heat. The covers for the bed consisted of just a thin sheet, so I wore my workout clothes so I wouldn't freeze all night. The breakfast was simple, so for an overnight stay, that's about okay."

"Beware of this Airbnb! Check-in required uploading not only a passport photo but also a selfie for facial recognition, and the website wasn't the government's official site, but the hotel's own. After checking EU and Spanish laws, I found this is illegal. My attempts to contact the hotel via WhatsApp to request a text message were met with automated replies. Feeling the risk was too high, I requested a refund. Ctrip customer service was very helpful, repeatedly trying to resolve the issue, but they still refused. In the end, Ctrip compensated me for the room fee. I'll definitely book through Ctrip more often when traveling abroad in the future. Especially with self-service hotels without a front desk, be wary of potential traps."
