Martin's All Suites

Matin's All Suites in Louvain-le-neuve is in the most convenient place close to restaurants, bars, and shops. But they have an incredible restaurant themselves a bar. I highly recommend it, Their spa, is to die for. And of course, their rooms, are always clean, comfortable, and quiet. I have stayed here numerous times, staying at the hotel and All Suites. Both are great hotels! If going to Louvain-le-Neuve you must stay at Martin's.

Beware the pictures showing a pullout couch. Not all rooms, despite being labeled suites, have one (and the alternative is like a double chair, thinly padded, too narrow to sleep on and uncomfortable even as a place to just sit). The front desk staff after some confused promises over several days eventually provided us with a room that did have a true pull-out one. If you need one, contact the hotel directly. Other than that, very nice hotel. The breakfast buffet features some Belgian specialties along the usual array of hot and cold items. The restaurant is excellent (best blanquette de veau ever!) And if you rent a car, select a really small one. Parking spots are tight for the hotel and everywhere else in Belgium.

I’ve stayed here three times now always a nice hotel , nice food and usually the same room which is also lovely to , I do recommend this hotel which is clean , great breakfast, good evening food in the restaurant and close to all in this area TIP: book a table at reception for every evening as they have private parties which they book over their quests first , hopefully I’ll be back soon .

We absolutely lovthus location! A few quirks, they don't care for Americans so dont expect all smiles and love from the locals. Its not all the locals but a good amount. Otherwise you would love the locale. The hotel is nice and all the amenities are great, they're was a few issues but overall we enjoyed our time in Belgium. The room has a couple flaws, toilet is in a closet on the other side of the shower room wall, you have to walk around with dirty hands to get to sink. The pillows are small squares and only 3 on a king size bed. No top sheet just a duvet blanket, no extra blankets or pillows in room. Lots of storage and closet space. We found it strange that your key card must stay in the holder at door area to maintain electricity in room. The shower also needs shelves there was no where to put your products.

Awful experience. Room not clean, carpets dirty, the spoons for the cofee were not clean - used by previous guests, smell in the room of sewage, the shower not clean. Noise from the room underneath at 01:30 AM. No parking available, clients are forced to use public parking at a cost of 20 eur for 10 hours. The receptionist billed the breakfast without me taking it. She did not even bother to ask me - until I made the remark, this is the same as silently stealing. I recommend this place to NOBODY - stay away - better to sleep outside in the park.

Nice, clean, spacious suites. Excellent location. I had the grand double and it had everything I needed. The one thing that would be nice to add is free water bottles - but since a Spar was around the corner, I just grabbed a six pack there...

I was very impressed with the location and the overall appearance, customer service, friendliness, room and cleanliness. I will be staying with Martin's Louvain-le-Neuve next week and look forward to it.

The Martin's LLN and Martin's All Suites are effectively the same hotel with the same facilities. Only difference is one wing of each floor has rooms, another suites. Technically there is a separate entrance for the All Suites however it is locked half the time and not convenient to most places in LLN anyway. The suite I stayed in was comfortable and well-equipped, with everything I tried working as expected though the bathroom a bit small and storage space a bit sp**** for more than a few days. WiFi is fast and reliable, and the staff very pleasant and eager to help. Breakfast buffet is plentiful and has options for every appetite and every diet. Most key areas in LLN are within walking distance and the hotel is rather quiet despite its location near the center of student life in what it still a university campus. I stayed during the World Cup and I heard students celebrate (not sure what, but separate issue) the way students do all over the world when walking out and about in the late evening, however it was as quiet as it gets as soon as I was inside the hotel. Only caveat is while LLN seems to want to make a big deal out of its lake, don't expect much, it's just a random body of water people can run/jog around.
