Hotels with Airport pickup service in Ottaviano

I stayed in this building with all the family. We have benefited mainly from his position that has allowed us to move quickly and easily to the goals of our interest: Naples center, the beautiful Sorrentin coast and the Vesuvio. The hotel's rooms are large, furnished in a simple way but nothing is missing. The staff is very friendly and available, we also enjoyed breakfast at the bar of the hotel and we had dinner at the restaurant. The hotel is very comfortable and it is very comfortable to park freely.

We chose this Inn because of the location and we wanted a relaxing break to start our vacation. The staff at the hotel are wonderful. Raffaello at the front desk makes you feel like family and he takes care of everything you need. We booked the package that included dinner, cooking class and vineyard tour with wine tasting. Dinner was served in our room in takeout containers with a bottle of wine. It was tasty and we were glad to be able to eat in our room after a long day of traveling. We walked to breakfast and were amazed at the views from the vineyard where breakfast is served. Had a great breakfast (we ate too much!) and then took our cooking class with Helena which was fantastic. We made homemade gnocchi which we later got to eat for lunch. The vineyard is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our tour. We then had wine tasting with Carmelo which was also very good paired with our lunch. We then spent time at the Inns beautiful pool on the roof. Our stay was amazing and just what we needed! Only con was that we are too much food because it was very good! This is a perfect place to stay if you want to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle!

Firstly the good things, this hotel was kept very clean and the staff were all very friendly and did help with the issues we experienced. The negatives: on arrival our room wasnt ready, we had left home at 07.30 in the morning, and arrived at the hotel 17.30, so an exhausting day travelling (as flying usually is) so to find that the room wasnt ready was not a great start. We had to sit in reception for approx 45 mins waiting. But the main problem for us was that the air conditioning was broken while we were there. The room we were in was on the ground floor, there was no pavement on the street outside so we had cars driving and parking right outside our window. Due to the broken air conditioning we needed to keep the window open to try to get some airflow, but this meant we had all the street noise and traffic fumes coming into the room. The hotel did move us to another room on a higher floor so we were away from the traffic fumes, unfortunately this room had the sun shining in all day and was even hotter than the first room. Again the staff were helpful and found us a fan to use which did help a bit. Our first room on the ground floor was not as nicely decorated as the second room, the first room was tatty and basic, so I think it will depend which room you get allocated as to how nice the room is. We had read reviews that the area is not nice, it was so much worse than we could have imagined - I have never seen so much rubbish piled up, its grubby, dirty and smelled of urine. I had thought a 25-30 minute walk into Naples would be ok, but we only did it once. Got the train thereafter to avoid the disgusting streets on the way in. The trains are surprisingly clean and pleasant compared to walking, once you work out the ticket system. The train station is approx a 10 minute walk from the hotel. There arent many place to eat near to the hotel, and they dont open in the evening until later around 8pm, which is later than we are used to. The hotel food was expensive was quite revolting, we only ate there once. They served a weird cold courgette dish and hard cubes of potato as the vegetable sides. So the rooms, the food, the broken air conditioning and the area surrounding the hotel spoilt our holiday. This was our first holiday together as a couple and we wanted it to be special so its doubly disappointing that the hotel was such a let down. If you want to visit Naples, I would suggest avoiding this hotel, find one closer to the centre where you can wander out of your hotel and be right in the heart of Naples, with all its eateries and coffee shops on your doorstep.

The main advantage of this hotel is its proximity to the airport, with the possibility of walking through an urbanized and walkable area, during a ten-minute walk. Despite being close on the map, you have to go around a military installation to get there. As for the hotel, I highlight its cleanliness and also its speed at the reception. The restaurant has a somewhat short menu, but the pasta we tried was of good quality.

Stayed a total of 4 nights over 2 visits in October with a family of 9 (3 rooms). It's a really nice hotel with a high end feel. Staff are extremely accommodating and helpful with any and all queries. Rooms are immaculately clean with excellent AC and a large smart TV. Beds are comfortable and there's a choice of pillow styles you can request from reception if you require neck support pillows or similar. Rooftop restaurant is nice, however food may be a bit ”gourmet” for young children. But you can order pizza from the room service menu to be delivered to the room. Vesuvius garden and seating is a nice place to sit with a coffee. Can't comment on the spa/pool as unfortunately children aren't able to use this facility and I had 4 young kids with me. The area may be a little off putting when you first arrive, but there's a train station within 10 mins walk to go to Naples centre or out Sorrento way.

Very good, the hotel is in a convenient location

May 13, 2023. In April, Judy and I visited Pompeii with another couple who are good friends and traveling companions, while visiting Italy, Switzerland and Sweden. Our group has considerable international travel experience and each of us really enjoyed Mirosa Bed and Breakfast; the people and accommodations were great. It was an excellent choice. Of note, during our stay issues arose with a booked tour and related timing and transportation issues. Owners Mirosa and husband Pasquale personally took control and, through considerable effort on their part, made it all work out. We booked to stay at the Herculaneum Hotel for 4 nights but ended up staying for 2. Let’s start with the positives - the hotel is situated literally opposite the entrance to the site of Herculaneum which was perfect for the access. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and were able to help us and answer questions. The public spaces were also very well kept and the terrace was the best part about the hotel, it was a shame it was barely used when we were there but it would be great if they set up breakfast here instead of the indoor room. The not so greats - the room we booked was not the room we got. When we booked the room I was sent a photo of what to expect and the description to match but it certainly did not look anything like it.. my partner really wasn’t happy as our room was very basic and had marks all on the walls and what looked like a urine stain. To their credit, the staff quickly moved us, however the next room was not much of an improvement. Both rooms had no views and I was really hoping to be able to have a view over the ruins. We were also unable to get breakfast, which was included, for both days we were there as there simply wasn’t room in the restaurant and we wanted to make the most of our days out so we just grabbed breakfast at the cafe on the corner, next door to the hotel - which is a delightful cafe - the staff there are fantastic too. Ercolano, the town itself was what really let us down and although this is not a reflection on the hotel itself, it somewhat made our experience worse as we just did not feel safe in the town. We moved on to Sorrento where it was a much friendlier place to be. If I could go back in time and rebook the whole holiday I would stay at the Herculaneum Hotel again but just for one night as you can spend a day at Herculaneum, stay and then head down the coast.

I had to catch a flight in the morning, so I chose one close to the airport, and going to the central station to catch the train was easy because I only had to walk downhill for 30 minutes in the morning and the road wasn't that dangerous! And if the weather is nice, the road is really pretty in the morning. Also, since the facility was recently built, the bathroom is clean and the bedding is clean. The staff was very friendly and I had a good stay.
