22年9月18日に宿泊を予定していたのですが、ニュースで最大限の警戒を呼びかけている台風14号が近づいており、宿泊日の翌日に帰る際に交通が麻痺して家に帰れなくなる可能性があったことからキャンセルをしました。キャンセルの際にフロントに確認したところ、今(宿泊前日)、キャンセルをしたら、規定どおりキャンセル料を払ってもらう、宿泊の当日に暴風域に入ったら、キャンセル料は払わなくてよいが暴風域に入らないのにキャンセルしたら当日の割増のキャンセル料を払ってもらう、宿泊して翌日に交通が麻痺してもホテル側は補償はしないとのことであった。 このようなキャンセルポリシーはもしかしたら一般的なのかもしれませんが、客の都合は考慮せずホテル側の都合のみを考えたキャンセルポリシーであると感じました
