Great stay at Hotel Torifito! The lady who served us was extremely helpful. It was raining when we checked in and she helped us bring our baggage into our rooms and offered to lend us umbrellas! She also told us to park opposite the hotel for more affordable parking! (1100 yen for 24h). The hotel room was very new, bright, clean and spacious too. I was totally blown away by the evening session at the onsen located at the lower level. Out of this world is the description with Indoor hot pool Outdoor hot pool Outdoor cold pool Sauna n steam room n Fireplace The onsen on the lobby level is different as it has a high tech sauna room with a hot area where you can lie down to enjoy the heat on back or front. Car park is ample and a very very short drive to the lobby drop off pick up with a shelter should it rain. A must come n try

Is a very busy hotel, staffs in reception looks tired all the times 😅 (no greeting upon check in no good bye upon go out). But the hotel itself is worth 5 stars. - location opposite JR station 5 stars - walking distance to Otaru canal 5 stars - Onsen available with small treats / amenities (microwave) very thoughtful more than 5 stars - room sound / noise proof is very good. Can’t hear the noice from corridor or next door or top room ( which I have this sound issue at other hotels when staying in other Hokkaido hotel for 10 days ) - recommended hotel will come back again
