There's a girl from Mongolia at the front desk who speaks Chinese, which made communication very smooth. The hotel is quiet, and the hot spring, although small, is rarely used. There's a tiny supermarket, but it's mostly closed during the day and used for luggage storage.

Great location, one of the snow liner stops at Tsugaike, if you are taking that shuttle traveling direct from Narita airport. Also only few mins walk to the gondola station to hit the slopes. Friendly staff, discounted lift passes are available at the reception, cash only though. Highly recommended if you are staying at Tsugaike.

Clean, sizeable room and nice bathroom. Dinner superb.

It's a short walk from the bus stop. The staff are attentive and friendly. The room is neat and clean. There is a large bath for soaking. There is an observation deck on the top floor where you can watch the sun, moon and stars. The free bus stop is next to the cable car station and can go to Hakuba Iwatake and Hakuba Station. The long-distance bus stop is near the tourist information center.

Check-in is at 3:00 PM, but you can arrive early and enter. The staff are very friendly. It's a short walk from Tsugaike Village, offering a relaxing view along the way.

Dinner was Kaiseki cuisine, breakfast is buffet style, I am very happy to stay in this hotel, all places and facilities exceed expectations, great! ! !

Breakfast/dinner are average/the location is more remote, if not driving is not recommended to stay here, recently convenience stores need to drive about 6 kilometers or so, there is not even a tissue inside the hot spring, the space is relatively little! Whether you use the hot spring or not, there is an additional charge of 200 Yen hot spring tax per night! The hotel claims that the parking is free, but it turns out that the free parking is required to walk at least five to 10 minutes, if you need to shoot the hotel area parking is charged, 1000 yen per night, so feel a bit tricky! No good reviews...end!

Overall, the price/performance ratio is quite high, but you have to book in advance, as it is difficult to find a good room during the snow season.

There are buses that shuttle between several cities at the entrance of the hotel, but I didn’t try it this time. I hope I can take the bus next time. Because of the hotel’s warm service, I took the initiative to write a thank-you letter to the hotel manager, I hope I can understand it. But they must understand the three Chinese characters for "thank-you letter"! I may continue to choose this hotel when I come to ski next year!

The hotel has free parking, no need to pay for parking. It is very convenient to go anywhere. The room is very spacious, clean, and the price is not expensive compared to other hotels in the Hakuba area. It is convenient to travel near the ski slopes.
