We stayed in Nagano and it exceeded our expectations. The hotel is minutes walk to the ski. Rooms are spacious and traditional beds and we had great views of the mountains. So good to have the onsen in the hotel after skiing. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Can't wait to come back! 👍

There's a girl from Mongolia at the front desk who speaks Chinese, which made communication very smooth. The hotel is quiet, and the hot spring, although small, is rarely used. There's a tiny supermarket, but it's mostly closed during the day and used for luggage storage.

After getting off at Hakuba Station, I took the V2 bus to the Gondola station. I think it was the third or fourth stop. From there, it was a 7-minute walk following Google Maps. The hotel offers discounted ski resort tickets and has a partnership with a ski rental shop. The hotel's large public bath was also great, practically empty, very quiet, and clean. If you plan to take a bus to Nagoya, you can catch it right outside the hotel, just make sure to check the schedule beforehand and book in advance. Breakfast options were limited but sufficient and quite refined. There's also a coin-operated laundry room with dryers.

A bit far from the tsuigaike bus stop and gondola station, and the hotel doesn't provide transfer service. So it will be a 10-15min walk with luggages in the snow. But if you store your ski gear at those rentals/ lockers at the gondola, it will make your life easier. The food is amazing though with different menu every night and we were sooo full. The breakfast is buffet style and similar each morning, but you get your fibres and proteins and carbs before skiing. The public bath is clean and has both indoor and outdoor parts. The ski gear dry room is clean too.

Great location, just 200 meters from the ski resort. However, the facilities are a bit old, and the staff doesn't speak English.

Hotel is great and staff is very accommodating. We arrived very early and they were able to take our bags so that we can start skiing. The property is a bit of a hike (up and down) from Tsugaike ski place which was a bit tricky for me with ski boots but my son was ok with his snowboard shoes. There is a convenience store on the way though but onigiri supplies often run out at the end of day, so you need to get there early.

Quite clean but not sure why no one do the cleaning for us. Service are self service except for the first check in day.

Great location, one of the snow liner stops at Tsugaike, if you are taking that shuttle traveling direct from Narita airport. Also only few mins walk to the gondola station to hit the slopes. Friendly staff, discounted lift passes are available at the reception, cash only though. Highly recommended if you are staying at Tsugaike.

Clean, sizeable room and nice bathroom. Dinner superb.

It's a short walk from the bus stop. The staff are attentive and friendly. The room is neat and clean. There is a large bath for soaking. There is an observation deck on the top floor where you can watch the sun, moon and stars. The free bus stop is next to the cable car station and can go to Hakuba Iwatake and Hakuba Station. The long-distance bus stop is near the tourist information center.

Check-in is at 3:00 PM, but you can arrive early and enter. The staff are very friendly. It's a short walk from Tsugaike Village, offering a relaxing view along the way.

The Cp value is very high, the price is not expensive, the room is bigger than expected, it is very close to the ski resort, very convenient, there is a hot spring to soak in after skiing, and the breakfast is also delicious
