Super awesome. We booked this hotel by mistake. When we arrived in Krabi, we found that the hostel we booked was not suitable for our Chinese physique, so we searched for 4-5 stars on the beach, and they were basically full. I would not book this hotel without reviews or photos. , but the surrounding area was full. Then the grab driver first sent us to another old hotel that cost more than 1,000 RMB during the Spring Festival. It took us a long time to get here (sea seeker and the boss were directly next to them and talked to the driver directly. Just say sea seeker) Facilities: Brand new, really brand new, except that the door always has to be closed very hard. Anyone passing by the hotel next door must take a look at the building here. Hygiene: It's brand new and very good. There are not many guests. I later found out that they were not online and were supposed to be testing. I accidentally ordered it. It was later said that it would only be online in March. During the Spring Festival, we had about 10 guests in total, and the waiters were better than us. many. Environment: There are a lot of food on the main streets. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the beach. Negotiate the price for 100-150 by tutu. Service: Afternoon tea will be served in the afternoon, and they will help us clean up a little when we go out. The service in the morning is also five-star. I really love the breakfast. I used to stay in hotels and often didn’t get up for breakfast. The motivation to get up at this hotel is breakfast 🧇. Parts that can be improved: 1. The swimming pool in the room is connected to the bathroom, so mosquitoes will come into the room. Remember to put some mosquito repellent. 2. The door will whine if it is not closed tightly. Close it harder. 3. Press the toilet in the bathroom to flush. Overall, I'm very satisfied. I'll stay here again next time if the price is affordable. My friends already missed breakfast on the day I left. By the way, the coffee in the room was super delicious. I even asked them for two packs when I left. It's possible. I want to start by saying that the staff were so pleasant and incredibly attentive. However, this hotel doesn’t compare to other 5*s I have stayed in. The breakfast which we paid for was a free for all in the morning and you would think they would prioritise seating for those staying in the VIP villas (they did not). We stood around wondering aimlessly for ten minutes before we pounced on a couple who were leaving their table. We went for dinner one night during our stay and the restaurant vibe was lacking, there was no music and we felt so rushed to get out so they could clock off for the evening. During that dinner service, we ordered two Chang beers and had to remind the waiter twice of out order. On to the room.. The views were stunning and having a swim up pool was amazing but the smell of drain as you walked into the property was overwhelming. They did offer for us to swap rooms but the location and view was not as good, so we persevered. Overall, a good stay but there are definitely some areas that need to be ironed out for it to be called 5 star

So good that it was a bit unexpected. Most hotels in northern Europe are small, but this one is quite spacious. The building is relatively high, and the scenery is very good. The breakfast is rich and there are staff who can speak Chinese. Five stars praise. There is a bus to the airport right in front of the hotel.

If you're travelling solo and want somewhere handy in the centre of Oslo and aren't too fussed about some usual hotel comforts, then this will tick the box. It's not super expensive but it could also be a bit cheaper for what it offers. The rooms feel like university student rooms, which isn't a bad thing per se. I'm unsure what larger rooms looked like but despite mine having a double bed, 2 people would feel pretty cramped in there. The bathroom/shower was good, no fault there. The bed was comfy but the matress tended to slide around. There's no room service for cleaning up or refreshing linen, they do that on rotations of their own choosing. If you really want that service (which in any other hotel is a daily one) you can request I think. This is fine for 1 night but after a while you feel a bit grimy. I found some clumps of hair on the floor and in an underbed drawer. There's no kettle in the room which is the bare basic that a room should have in terms of amenities so people can make their own tea, coffee or noodles etc. You can buy tea or coffee in reception but it's worth just heading outside to grab something. My room didn't have wardrobe storage but did have wall bracket-hangers which did the job. There were plenty of sockets for charging things. Like I said for a person solo travelling and not wanting a hostel, this place is fine for 1 night or 2. I stayed 3 and it was too long in that hotel and too long in Oslo in general.

Arrived on our ferry from Copenhagen before lunch so left luggage and wandered until checkin was possible. All so good so far. When we came to check in we asked to make sure the room didn’t have feather bedding - assured it was clear of feathers, however when went up to room this wasn’t the case. Went down, explained at which point after many discussions (explaining that I’m allergic to feather bedding over and over (as we had with the booking) I was offered another room which apparently was better (but the guy on reception didn’t seem to understand my question as to whether the new room would be free from feathers ….!) Went up to the room and of course it had feather bedding. We moved all of our luggage into the new room and my OH went down to reception this time and the same guy simply didn’t understand what we were explaining so OH requested another member of staff who did understand second time around. (Later bedding was all replaced which was then fine. ) the surprising thing was they had members of staff on reception whose English wasn’t quite up to basic requests (unusual for anywhere in Scandinavia) (while admitting my Norwegian is non-existent!) The bathroom was possibly the smallest I have ever witnessed, albeit it did have a bath with shower over. All v clean and fully functional. The pool and sauna were ok but a little small, but if you timed it you could use them. Generally the staff were a little slow (perhaps the hotel doesn’t have enough staff currently to service guests?) and service alone would put me off coming to stay here again unfortunately.

Hotel location is very good, next to the train station, the service is also very in place, I will set a person's bed is 20m2 big bed room, the result is told that it is a single bed room (the cheapest file only 15m2). Due to the midnight in China, the hotel also helped me upgrade in the spirit of people-oriented. This kind of thing is not the first time on the website. My friend used to have a similar thing overseas. It took a long time to get it done and delayed the trip. If the guest staying in English is not English, it is awful. I don’t know if the agent of the website is doing rough things or using this technique.

From the airport, take the train to the Central Railway Station and walk for more than ten minutes. All the way to the street, the location is very good. The facilities are not bad. I spent a night at Comfort Hotel Xpress Central Station Oslo, and while it's a no-frills accommodation, it's worth mentioning its cleanliness and thoughtful amenities. The heated bathroom floor was a pleasant surprise, providing an extra touch of comfort. Everything is there except what isn't there. If the room is empty, you can check in early and we can store your luggage for you. There is no refrigerator in the room, but a communal refrigerator is available in the lobby. The lobby also has a vending machine and a microwave. It is a 5-minute walk to Oslo Station and major tourist attractions are also within walking distance. Tram number 12, which goes to Vigeland Park, also stops right next to the hotel. I intend to visit again. I recommend it as a value-for-money hotel.

Also, you can not closed the windows all the time, because the toilet and bathroom are don’t have windows and it’s only take out the air from there to the room.

Super location. Right next to oslo city mall and central station and all transport and entertainment food options. This is a modern hotel (or very thoroughly renovated). Entrance was very busy or maybe because I was there at around 2 pm. Very nice looking lobby with lots of seating spaces and good vibes. An Andy Warhol is a. Ice touch. Check in was smooth but room was not ready so I kept my bags in their bag room. It was ready when I came back at around 240. Elevator is a combination of using your card and entering your floor on a touch screen so don’t just hop in with someone else. Room was really modern, hip and user friendly. Smart tv, lots of storage spaces and big bathroom. The view was of the inner courtyard so not much. Bed was very comfortable and really overall liked the room a lot. Depending on your room number it could be a bit of a walk from the elevator so keep that in mind. I tried out the basement level which had sauna, pool, gym. Gym looked good but didn’t use and the sauna was very nice. The pool is round, very small and about the only negative of the hotel. Forget laps, you can sort of float around but even that becomes a problem if 2 or 3 people are in there. I wanted to see the views from the top so went to their restaurant and must say had a wonderful time. I wrote a separate review on Norda but suffice to say it was well worth the visit just for the views alone and the food was very good as well. Finally the breakfast was something else. Honestly I doubt if anyone can try out all the dishes as there are so many. Quality stuff I must add, different types of salmon, avocado halves(!) and what not. Really something to behold. Overall though definitely not cheap, I really liked the modern aesthetic, the prime location and excellent room facilities and the breakfast and Norda were just icing on the cake.

I would really have liked to have given this a five star review, because the reception staff were super friendly, making sure I knew where the tourist attractions were and how to get there on my first day and letting me use the toilet when I popped back on my last day well after I’d checked out, as well as giving me a room with a phenomenal view of the fjord, but a couple of things took the shine off for me. One was the lack of air con. I mis-understood how hot Oslo could be, which is kind of on me and not the hotel BUT the DIY open window and fan arrangement weren’t entirely satisfactory, and while I was in my room, I never felt entirely comfortable with how hot I was. I guess the opposite could also be true if you can’t control how hot or cold your room gets in winter (when I assume my imaginings of snow drifts is actually a thing). Secondly was the breakfast. I can in no way fault the food - smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, bread, carrot cake (always a joy, whatever the time of day), melon, cheese and ham, but trying to find a table was sometimes impossible. It was particularly difficult for me as a solo traveller. It involved getting up early, crossing my fingers and piling everything on my plate in one go, just in case. Some days it was fine, but one day, after walking what felt like the entire length of the shopping centre getting increasingly dispondent, I had to perch on the end of a table with a group of pensioners who were staying there after two weeks travelling up and down Scandinavia together on train. Fortunately I am mature enough to be able to make small talk, but I can see how it wouldn’t go down so well with everyone else. Coffee was also a hit hit and miss - I was only offered some two out of four days. These little quirks are a real shame, because the location is great (handy for the train and city centre tourist attractions), and as I say, the staff on reception were lovely (and based on what I heard while I was standing in line, some of the other guests can be quite demanding). If I’m in Oslo again, I would definitely consider staying here again (but maybe bring a handheld fan or multiple layers of clothing, depending on the season) and maybe avoiding the breakfast.

The hotel is beautiful. Simple. But has plenty of upgrades available. Room was spacious and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Heated bathroom floors. Big tub. Walking distance to everything! That’s a big plus when you a tugging two young ones on foot. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We stayed here for four nights over the Oslo Marathon weekend. We were lucky to have a superior room (only four on each floor by the look of things) and so had plenty of space - indeed our bathroom seemed to be much the same size as the standard room. The bed was very comfy and the room was quiet, with the window facing an internal space. Slept well and pigged out on Sky's coverage of the Queen's death when in the room. Note no tea/coffee/fridge/safe etc in room but all these were available on the ground floor, Breakfast (included in our online offer) was great - the usual Scandi buffet with the only problem being holding back and not overeating. The hotel has a good central location on the west side of central and we found that we could walk everywhere no problem. All in all a great stay and we would certainly consider staying again were we ever to revist Oslo, which I hope we do.

Arrived in Oslo specifically to see the Sam Smith concert. Could walk to and from the venue. This hotel has one of the best concierges in the business! Andrea was amazing - she answered every question and connected me with amazing providers. The bartenders are super nice. Staff is great. Front desk staff are super patient and you cannot beat the location. The room had a very nice balcony. It was clean and comfortable - if a bit pricey but in a country with 25% VAT what do you expect? Really liked the city and hope to return again one day.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotell Bondeheimen! The rooms were clean and cozy. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was perfect for us. We walked everywhere, except for Vigeland Sculpture Park. We took a tram but the stop was really close to the hotel. The breakfast buffet was incredible! It was full of delicious foods that lasted me until dinner. The restaurant attached to the hotel was fantastic. See separate reviews for Kaffistova. I would highly recommend this hotel if you wanna be in heart of it all but without the noise.

We stayed here for three nights this week. We checked in late and were given room 501. It was an ok room but the windows were high up on the walls and difficult to see out. Since we had booked a superior room we asked to switch to a better room in the morning. The guy at the front desk seemed very bothered by our request and quickly said without checking that they were fully booked and we should just spend our time outdoors and not in the room. Very unprofessional attitude. I know help is hard to get but this guy should be furloughed. Later that same day we asked another gentleman at the front desk if we could change rooms. He immediately said he would look into it and gave us room 239 with large windows overlooking the plaza and Karl Johan Gate. I wish I had his name. He was a black person, and should be given a raise. Takk skal du ha. Very conveniently located with access from inside the train station. Just walk towards Karl Johan Gate and it’s on the left just before you exit the station. Easy walking, train, tram, ferry access to all the things to see. Excellent breakfast with a large array of hot and cold choices. We’d stay here again in room 239 not 501.

We spent three nights at this hotel and while it wasn't terrible we would not choose to go back. The rooms are small and have minimal furnishings. There is nowhere to unpack and little place for relaxing or working. We did appreciate having a view of the Opera House but the extra money we paid for a balcony was wasted as the balcony had no furniture. The breakfast was fine; we did not have a problem finding a seat though others we saw did. The only 'extra' in the lobby is water; other snacks and drinks must be purchased. The staff was uneven. On our arrival day the people at the front desk were quite rude, later staff were pleasant. One note - though Oslo is a very safe city, the area around this hotel attracts what homeless population we saw in the city (there seems to be a drop in clinic there). While we never felt threatened, we did have to change our route near the hotel to avoid unwanted attention. Some travelers might prefer not to have to deal with this. We saw many other hotels in the area and think they would be a better option.

Hotel location is very good, next to the train station, the service is also very in place, I will set a person's bed is 20m2 big bed room, the result is told that it is a single bed room (the cheapest file only 15m2). We stayed here for three nights this week. We checked in late and were given room 501. It was an ok room but the windows were high up on the walls and difficult to see out. Since we had booked a superior room we asked to switch to a better room in the morning. The guy at the front desk seemed very bothered by our request and quickly said without checking that they were fully booked and we should just spend our time outdoors and not in the room. Very unprofessional attitude. I know help is hard to get but this guy should be furloughed. Later that same day we asked another gentleman at the front desk if we could change rooms. He immediately said he would look into it and gave us room 239 with large windows overlooking the plaza and Karl Johan Gate. I wish I had his name. He was a black person, and should be given a raise. Takk skal du ha. Very conveniently located with access from inside the train station. Just walk towards Karl Johan Gate and it’s on the left just before you exit the station. Easy walking, train, tram, ferry access to all the things to see. Excellent breakfast with a large array of hot and cold choices. We’d stay here again in room 239 not 501.

Hotel location is good. Went at Christmas, next to the Christmas market and the city's commercial streets. Most of the popular attractions are within walking distance. Arrived in Oslo specifically to see the Sam Smith concert. Could walk to and from the venue. This hotel has one of the best concierges in the business! Andrea was amazing - she answered every question and connected me with amazing providers. The bartenders are super nice. Staff is great. Front desk staff are super patient and you cannot beat the location. The room had a very nice balcony. It was clean and comfortable - if a bit pricey but in a country with 25% VAT what do you expect? Really liked the city and hope to return again one day.

We were not originally booked into the Thon Cecil, but transferred by the company on arrival. This was a slightly disconcerting start but from then on everything was significantly better than expectation. The room was very comfortable, the location very convenient and the breakfast choice so broad as to be nearly overwhelming. Staff throughout were friendly (without being intrusive) and very efficient. My only slight quible was that the rooms facing onto the atrium did not have an outside view so was a little difficult to guage the weather! I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this place to stay.

Generally, I enjoyed my stay, but the problems started with the check-out. I forgot a few items of clothing in my room and therefore called after returning home to find out how to get them back. Initially nobody could tell me if they had found the clothes or not, and it took me three phone calls in total until somebody actually talked to the housekeeping staff to find out. The result was that the clothes were not found, which means that the staff who cleaned either threw the clothes away or kept them. I had the impression that the front desk staff only started to show some initiative after I had called several times and also did not care a great deal to find my belongings. I would expect more (and definitely not several items of clothing to disappear) in a 3 star hotel.

Arrived on our ferry from Copenhagen before lunch so left luggage and wandered until checkin was possible. All so good so far. When we came to check in we asked to make sure the room didn’t have feather bedding - assured it was clear of feathers, however when went up to room this wasn’t the case. Went down, explained at which point after many discussions (explaining that I’m allergic to feather bedding over and over (as we had with the booking) I was offered another room which apparently was better (but the guy on reception didn’t seem to understand my question as to whether the new room would be free from feathers ….!) Went up to the room and of course it had feather bedding. We moved all of our luggage into the new room and my OH went down to reception this time and the same guy simply didn’t understand what we were explaining so OH requested another member of staff who did understand second time around. (Later bedding was all replaced which was then fine. ) the surprising thing was they had members of staff on reception whose English wasn’t quite up to basic requests (unusual for anywhere in Scandinavia) (while admitting my Norwegian is non-existent!) The bathroom was possibly the smallest I have ever witnessed, albeit it did have a bath with shower over. All v clean and fully functional. The pool and sauna were ok but a little small, but if you timed it you could use them. Generally the staff were a little slow (perhaps the hotel doesn’t have enough staff currently to service guests?) and service alone would put me off coming to stay here again unfortunately.

The adjacent park is a lovely walk, the waterfront and pedestrian walkways are 10 minutes away, and best of all there is a Rema 1000 grocery store 1/2 block from Cochs. Since a kitchenette is provided, it makes sense to dine in. Experience shopping and try new local foods! The staff is friendly and helpful, coffee free, the facilities are spotlessly clean, and the history just oozes out of the place when you walk up and down the vintage staircase. A loaner electric adaptor was offered when I realized I did not have the right size for Norway. On a scale of 1-5, Cochs gets a 10!

We stayed here for four nights over the Oslo Marathon weekend. We were lucky to have a superior room (only four on each floor by the look of things) and so had plenty of space - indeed our bathroom seemed to be much the same size as the standard room. The bed was very comfy and the room was quiet, with the window facing an internal space. Slept well and pigged out on Sky's coverage of the Queen's death when in the room. Note no tea/coffee/fridge/safe etc in room but all these were available on the ground floor, Breakfast (included in our online offer) was great - the usual Scandi buffet with the only problem being holding back and not overeating. The hotel has a good central location on the west side of central and we found that we could walk everywhere no problem. All in all a great stay and we would certainly consider staying again were we ever to revist Oslo, which I hope we do.

We stayed in a business room in the main palace. The room was wide, clean, light, soundproofed, well furnished and provided with everything: towel, hot coffee machine, tea and tea boiler, chibate, shower and shampoo cream, true phon, frigobar, The bathroom was very large, modern, with double shower and was clean. The very comfortable bed, in the Scandinavian style and also clean, large, with double coats, applies with USB grip, soft lights and faces a large LED TV with Norwegian channels. There was a chair and a desk with a chair, a mirror, and a courtesy light. In the very well furnished area of the restaurant, you could have a buffet breakfast that was excellent, you can find almost everything and the very kind insights; the only sin was that there were too many people approaching food without. The latter were very helpful, even though they were sometimes a little sweet, no one of them spoke Italian but it was not a problem. The location is not very close to the centre, it is a time ranging from 20 to 30 minutes, we were well with the bus that stops right in front, the distances gave us no problem. The price compared to competition was advantageous. I strongly recommend booking standard rooms in dependance 2, on the opposite side. It was a pleasure to stay at the hotel thon.
