Chose this hotel as it is very convenient to go to the Shinkansen station for my kyoto day trips. The hotel is just 1 min away from esaka metro station thus I took about 25mins to get to Kyoto (2 metro stops 5min+ 13 min Shinkansen stop on the nozomi line) We didn’t want to stay two places as it is troublesome to change hotel and move luggages around. Although it is further from airport than popular areas like namba, it doesn’t make much of a difference anyway as both takes about 1 hour.
First, the positives: the hotel's location is impeccable, being just a few minutes' walk from the theme park. There are also plenty of dining options nearby. The rooms are very spacious, and the two large beds can easily accommodate a family of four. We stayed for two nights. When we returned on the second day, we noticed that the sheets and duvet covers had been changed to new ones. However, the floor was completely uncleaned, and there was a noticeable amount of trash, which I find hard to believe wasn't seen. Also, I usually keep my black pajamas on the bedside table, as I feel the bed is clean. Typically, after housekeeping changes the bedding at other hotels, they place my pajamas back on the bedside table. This time, however, they were thrown on the floor, specifically in the gap between the nightstand and the bed (it took me a while to find them, and I've already picked them up in the photo, so it's not visible). I'm not sure if this was intentional.

Staying in the Superior King Room at Osaka Tokyu REI Hotel was truly excellent value for money! The location is super convenient, very close to Honmachi Station, and just a few minutes' walk to Shinsaibashi. Yet, it's surprisingly quiet at night despite being in a bustling area.
The biggest surprise was how spacious the room was; there was plenty of space to open up two large suitcases without any trouble. The staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, the value for money is outstanding, and I will definitely return here on my next trip to Osaka!

Not the kind of hotel that tries to impress you.
This one just quietly does its job… better than most.
Rooms? Small la—Japan standard. You open luggage, suddenly feel like you doing yoga with your suitcase.
But clean. Proper clean. Not “we spray Febreze and pray” clean.
Location ah… this one solid.
You step out, Umeda already hugging you—food, trains, chaos, neon, everything within walking distance.
You get lost also cannot cry, just turn one corner, got 7-Eleven to emotionally support you.
Service? Polite until you feel guilty for existing.
No drama, no nonsense—just efficient like a well-run terminal shift.
