I live with my family. It is easy to find near Shinsaibashi. The location is convenient. It is close to shopssubway station. The room is clean and tidy. I will recommend friends to stay here!
Hearton Hotel Shinsaibashi

The room is quite nice but it’s very very humid it also overlooks the street which can be a bit annoying at night as it’s not sound proof, I think they should tell the guests not to be Loud after midnight as some guests try to sleep, they don’t have a washing and drying coin machine which can be extremely helpful, if you are looking for a good location then this is the place for you
HOTEL MYSTAYS Shinsaibashi

The location is excellent, just 200 meters from the subway entrance to the hotel. The hotel staff can be understood if they speak English more slowly. Their vocabulary is average, but their hearing is very good. You can repeat it in another way to confirm. The hotel is fully equipped and has one or two sets of towels and other sanitary products. If there are not enough, you have to help yourself at the front desk and they will not be replenished. The two 26-inch suitcases are a bit cramped when opened, making it difficult to pack. If you stay for more than one night, the room will be cleaned and sheets will be laid out.
Hotel Nikko Osaka

The room was great as it is walking distance from shinsaibashi subway station. There are 2 timing of bus shuttle 7:05am and 3:05pm to Kansai International airport. It is not free as it cost 1600 yen per person. It can be purchased at the kiosk machine besides the check in counter. Walking distance to Daimaru where you can get sushi, Ramen, takoyaki etc at basement 1. Quite convenient overall

Fast check in and all amenities you can select at lobby. Scan room card and auto select the level for you. Just sound proof is not that good. Banging and knocking and ppl chit chatting in the walk way can be heard.
VIA INN SHINSAIBASHI JR-West Group

It’s a good choice for travellers who are not familiar with Osaka as it’s only a 3-min walk from Osaka metro Shinsaibashi station. A very neat and clean place to take a break from travelling indeed. The staffs are helpful and nice too. The best thing is there’s a 7-11 next to it, very convenient to get instant food.

More about Osaka

Introduction to Osaka

Osaka, Japan's third-largest city, is a dynamic metropolis known for its modern architecture, lively nightlife, and hearty street food culture. It is located in the Kansai region on the main island of Honshu. Osaka's friendly locals and a myriad of attractions, including historic landmarks, theme parks, and shopping districts, provide a compelling contrast to Tokyo's hustle and bustle.

Osaka is served by two airports: Kansai International Airport and Itami Airport, with Kansai being the primary gateway for international travelers. The city has an excellent public transportation system, including JR trains, subways, and buses. Japan's famous bullet trains also connect Osaka with other major cities.

The official currency is the Japanese Yen (JPY), and while credit cards are widely accepted, it's worth carrying some cash for smaller establishments. The official language is Japanese, and while English is not commonly spoken by older locals, younger generations and service staff at tourist attractions usually have a good understanding.

Visa requirements for Japan vary depending on your country of origin, so always check in advance. Many countries enjoy visa-free access for short-term visits.

Weather, Best Time to Visit, and What to Wear

Osaka experiences four distinct seasons. The spring (March-May) and fall (September-November) are the best times to visit, with pleasant temperatures and beautiful cherry blossoms or fall colors.
