City Inn Nishi Tanabe

The event such as concert overlapped in the Osaka marathon, and the hotel price in Osaka city was jumping up, so I used this place which was cheap except for the capsule and the so-called Doya. The front desk was polite, but when I enter the room after dark, I don't know the light switch! I finally found it by hand, but the room feels old and small. There is a desk, but you can't put the stool in front of you, you can't work, you can't sit in bed. In addition, the lighting switch was away from the bed, and when I went to bed, I turned off the lights and walked to the futon. There were many snacks around, and the drunk was noisy at night on the road. The unit bus is surprisingly large, but the toilet bowl is not a heating toilet seat, and the cold day is hot. Breakfast was simple, but there are few seats in the lobby and it seems to be hard to eat in the room. The front desk response was quite different depending on the person. 7000 If you stay for yen, it was good to have a capsule

The location is very convenient, 1 minute from the station. Since it's the Midosuji Line, you can go to Namba, Shinsaibashi, and Umeda with just one line. This time from Umeda to Kyoto, the autumn leaves🍁 was great. From Namba to Nara, playing with deer🫎. For meals, there is a nearby Super Life in front of the station, and you can cook hot pot dishes and rice in the microwave for cheap. They had all the facilities, so I used them all. There is a washing machine and dryer, so you don't need to change your clothes. If you wash it at night and use the dryer, it will be dry in the morning. Much more convenient than a hotel. If you want to enjoy Kansai, this is the best position.

This is a continuous night. Quiet and comfortable living environment. Supermarkets and shopping areas are nearby, and you can walk to Sumiyoshi Taisha. The device is also beautiful and stylish. I want to stay here again.

There is enough air conditioning and it is a large room in Japan with a single square meter. It is separated from three and super convenient. Although it is next to the rails, it is not noisy; the service is not good, and the cleaning needs to recycle the key.

The location is quite good. It is very convenient to go to Shinsaibashi and take the subway directly. Then the whole building is my own family. I think it is very convenient. I am because my friend has lived and introduced me. The friend said that there is a difference between my stay and my stay. I think the toilet can be cleaned a little bit more clean, because there is obvious dust in the gap of the toilet, I hope the owner will re-show it.

You can experience the Japanese authentic room type of homestay, the whole is not bad, the most important thing is that there is a washing machine, it is very suitable for families to come and stay.

More about Osaka

Introduction to Osaka

Osaka, Japan's third-largest city, is a dynamic metropolis known for its modern architecture, lively nightlife, and hearty street food culture. It is located in the Kansai region on the main island of Honshu. Osaka's friendly locals and a myriad of attractions, including historic landmarks, theme parks, and shopping districts, provide a compelling contrast to Tokyo's hustle and bustle.

Tips for Travelling to Osaka

Osaka is served by two airports: Kansai International Airport and Itami Airport, with Kansai being the primary gateway for international travelers. The city has an excellent public transportation system, including JR trains, subways, and buses. Japan's famous bullet trains also connect Osaka with other major cities.

The official currency is the Japanese Yen (JPY), and while credit cards are widely accepted, it's worth carrying some cash for smaller establishments. The official language is Japanese, and while English is not commonly spoken by older locals, younger generations and service staff at tourist attractions usually have a good understanding.

Visa requirements for Japan vary depending on your country of origin, so always check in advance. Many countries enjoy visa-free access for short-term visits.

Popular Attractions in Osaka

Dotonbori is Osaka's entertainment heart, with its iconic Glico Man sign, an array of restaurants, and exciting street performances. A visit to Osaka Castle, one of Japan's most famous landmarks, is essential.

Universal Studios Japan, a popular theme park featuring Harry Potter World, is a favorite among families. Explore the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, one of the largest public aquariums in the world, or shop 'til you drop in the Shinsaibashi Shopping Arcade.

Weather, Best Time to Visit, and What to Wear

Osaka experiences four distinct seasons. The spring (March-May) and fall (September-November) are the best times to visit, with pleasant temperatures and beautiful cherry blossoms or fall colors. Summers can be hot and humid, while winters are mild but chilly. Depending on the season of your visit, pack accordingly - light, breathable clothing for summer, and warm layers for winter.

Choosing Your Ideal Hotel in Osaka

Osaka offers a wide range of accommodations to suit different travel needs. If you're looking for luxury near attractions, the Intercontinental Osaka in Umeda or Conrad Osaka offer top-notch services and amenities. The Swissotel Nankai Osaka is conveniently located above Nankai Namba Station for easy transportation access.

Budget travelers might find Hotel Monterey Grasmere Osaka or Hearton Hotel Kitaumeda appealing. Instagrammers would love Hotel The Flag Shinsaibashi, recognized for its minimalist design and excellent location.
