3.5/5It is actually great as it is convenient with a local store just next to it, the place so close to the famous bridge and i always love dormy inn for its hot spring. However, i found this particular dormy inn not at the cleanness standards of all the dormy inns. The towels, the bed sheet, the clothes for hotspring.

4/5Very GoodThe hotel is situated between Nagahoribashi and Nippombashi subway stations, making it very close to the Dotonbori street and the river. However, it’s sandwiched right in the middle meaning there’s a bit of a walk from the subway, and unfortunately it’s not a hotel connected to one of the subway exits. As you enter the hotel, you can get a sense that its mileage is high and the lighting is darker than other more modern and new hotels. However, given this place provides onsen (Japanese hot springs) it helps provide a calming and relaxing sensation. The room amenities are more on a “collect yourself” from the 1st floor (ground floor) at the reception area, meaning you only take what is necessary as opposed to getting them excessively, which is a great sustainable move, if customers treat this system morally. The Onsen experience itself is the highlight of the stay. You access the Onsen area as you go to the 2nd floor and you can wash your laundry (for free with detergent) and tumble dry (¥200), whilst you bathe. Expect heavy traffic towards the latter part of the night. Afterwards, you can go to the canteen area for a free bowl of ramen and also pickup a free ice lolly. Highly recommend this place for someone who loves hot springs and wants to relax after a long day.

5/5PerfectHeated toilet seat and cozy shower without bathtub in the room but bedroom was spacious and size was good for a city hotel Near sketchy host club streets but very accessible to dotonbori and all the shopping streets which is great The immediate area around the hotel was still quite safe and decent Huge Family Mart downstairs and connected to the hotel entrance is a very big plus
