Hotel Vischio Osaka

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed given the reasonable price. Location is wonderful. A mere five minute walk from the Umeda ＜-＞ Kansai airport limousine terminal, surrounded by drug and beauty stores, electronics stores, Pokemon centre, Rilakumma (san-x) store, Disney store, all within 15 mins walking distance. Room is very well-maintained. Clean, I mean shiny clean every corner. I pay a lot of attention to the bathroom, mirror and the tub as it tells a lot about the hosuekeeping. This housekeeping here is excellent. It’s literally dustless even around the corner of the tables and the shelves in the bathroom. And as you can see, we even have an air purifier inside the room and it is very assuring. I left a request asking for slippers and toothbrush/toothpaste for kids and they were already in the room when I check-in. Though it was a Twins room that I booked, they attended to the details and prepared extra towels in the bathroom without me asking as they know we’re actually staying with 2 adults and 2 kids. Other amenities were self-served in the lobby, I grabbed what I needed and it was pretty rare that hotels offer individually packed hair wax which impressed me tremendously. Will Definitely choose this hotel again and I highly recommend it to others who are staying in Umeda Osaka. P.S. I didn’t have time to try to buffet breakfast but the small cafe at the lobby is great too.

Excellent location. A short walk to all shopping malls & easy accessible to JR and metro station as well. Definitely will stay at this hotel again next time!

The reception was great, polite and can communicate well in English. Big bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body foam were provided in the room, but smaller packs of toiletries are provided in the lobby, such as facial cleanser, oil cleanser, toner, facial cream, aftershave cream, shaver, shower cap, bath towel (body scrub), tea, coffee, multipurpose wash soap are some that I can remember. The room is very clean, housekeeping is done everyday but replacement of bedsheets and towels are up to the guests. The room was spacious for our family of 3, 2 adults and a 5yo child, and we could even fit two 24" luggages and one cabin-sized luggage opened on the floor. There's a big table and 2 chairs provided, which was good for takeaway meals. Kettle, tv are the usual. One key thing to note for parents with yung kids, on the hotel website, they mentioned kids amenities are available for rental, such as step stools (for teeth brushing) and potty seat. They also provide kids pajamas in 3 sizes, and disposable kids in-room slippers. All these provisions really saved a lot of our trouble and baggage space.

Great hotel, comfortable and clean. Close to station but not directly under. About a 5 min walk away. Would book again.

It was quite disappointing as it’s a very convenient hotel and it looks so good from outside. But wifi always disconnect, the room air con and carpets are not clean. There is even a crack on the ceiling and I could hear sound from upstairs. When I told the front staff, one can’t speak English another came to the room but only reboot the electricity so while wifi works the air con was switched off. I stayed here 5 nights and they never offer to switch another room. If it’s 1-2 nights I would have just accepted it without complains.
