The hotel is situated quietly outside the Ortisei/St. Ulrich with a nice panoramic view. The room seemed clean and was comfortable. We had a problem with the toilet that wouldn’t flush, and as we kindly asked whether it could get fixed, we were met with an unfriendly answer but however it got fixed. In general the staff wasn’t very welcoming

Room was boiling, no A/C, had to sleep with window open, which was impossible as it’s sooo noisy- the hotel is located right on the main road.

Nice hotel with a bus stop out front, shuttle some days, and a pool/sauna/hammam. Although we enjoyed the hotel, it's important to note it's a bit outside the city so requires a 15-20min walk in or scheduling with the bus outside, otherwise, great for apre-ski and the night sky.

I stayed at the Rodes Hotel from December 30th to January 1st in a single room paid €416. Very dated room with peeling walls and a draft of cold air coming in from the window that looks directly onto the bed. At 8 in the morning the maid knocks on the door to make up the room, staff at the reception are rude to the point of rudeness. Check out at 10am. At 9.59am I'm called to my room and told "can you come down to pay the bill because I have to leave". I strongly advise against this hotel, if you want to rest and be treated kindly don't go there.

La recensione per questo hotel non può prescindere dalla valutazione del rapporto qualità/prezzo. Ho prenotato per necessità (ultime disponibilità) da Booking e, indubbiamente, il prezzo non è risultato esoso. Siamo tornati dopo circa 8 anni, la recensione di allora era di 4 stelle. Se potessi ne dovrei togliere mezza di stella (o forse una), ma voglio essere buono. Anche altre recensioni hanno sottolineato che l'albergo necessiterebbe di un ammodernamento, di una "ripulita", cosa vera e credo, necessaria. La ristorazione è da rivedere, camerieri efficienti e gentili. Nulla da eccepire sulla pulizia. La receptionist, ingiustamente criticata da altri, lavora sodo e la sera si trasferisce presso il ristorante per "completare" la giornata. I modi di fare, forse "duri", riflettono la schiettezza dei luoghi, ma li ritengo preferibili a modi falsamente gentili che tendono a rifilarti un trabocchetto spiacevole. E' presente un utile servizio navetta per la base delle cabinovie. Poi, la bellezza dei luoghi fa il resto. Insomma, anche se la recensione è positiva, credo che una attenzione maggiore ai particolari e alle "rifiniture" potrebbe non guastare. Ci torneremo? Forse.
