Universal's Endless Summer Resort – Dockside Inn and Suites

It was great to find a proper hotel, not just a motel, in this price range. It was clean, and the room wasn't cramped, which made for a comfortable stay. I also loved getting a room key with my name on it.

I booked a single room, but they upgraded me to a two-bedroom with three beds! It was so spacious for just one person. The official hotel shuttle was practically on-demand, no waiting at all. The restaurant in the lobby has really long operating hours, so you'll never go hungry. Plus, staying at an official hotel means early access to the park, which was a huge bonus. Everything was absolutely perfect.

This hotel is located within Universal Studios, and the shuttle bus service to and from the park is incredibly convenient. On the same floor as the hotel lobby, there's a Universal store, a restaurant, and a coffee shop. Upon arrival, we were even upgraded to a two-bedroom suite, which offered a lot more space. All in all, we were very satisfied.

The hotel offers a free shuttle to Universal Studios, and you can get early park access with your room card. There are two good Chinese restaurants within a 1km walk that we've tried. The hotel also has its own restaurant, a travel desk, a car rental counter, and a shop. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay. The downsides were that the shower water wasn't hot enough in the evening, and the bathroom had no window or exhaust fan.

The room was quite clean, and the front desk staff provided excellent service.
