We arrive around 8pm. The front attendant wasn’t too friendly, seemed aggravated with the customer he was helping. He was cordial with me. The elevator door opened very slowly. We got assigned a room on the 3rd floor. As soon as the elevator doors opened , you could tell that there wasn’t much air conditioning circulating. When I opened my room door, I could smell there had been a dog in the room. After we had settled, my daughter got up from her bed to use the bathroom; as I glance over to her bed, I see a roach crawling away from the bed. I killed it and immediately called the front desk. He offered to change rooms; he said he would look, I asked him to call me back. 15 minutes went by, so I called him back. He said I had to go downstairs to get the key to a new room. “You don’t have anyone that can bring it to me”. “No, I’m by myself and I can’t leave the desk unattended”. I went downstairs to get the key, where was he? Not at the desk, he was filling the coffee pot… it’s 10pm! Next day, TV stops working “no signal”. It can’t be fixed, have to wait until the next day to get a new one. Cleaning crew just replaced the towels and toilet paper, never made the beds. Overall, didn’t feel like a Hilton, more like a Motel 6!
