Universal Terra Luna Resort

The hotel is really clean and nice. There’s a fee for parking but really close to the universal parks

We loved the service. Right from the start everyone is really welcoming and you get a message from the front desk to which you can reply with any inquiry and get a quick response in minutes. The cleanliness was good. The room was nice. And the shuttle only took about 10 minutes to Epic Universe. Only a few minus points for a pretty long wait to check-in and the expensive on-site parking ($30 plus taxes).

The hotel was overall ok, decent value for a Universal Studios hotel. It's about a 5 minutes bus ride from Epic Universe. It allows early entry into the parks. The rooms still have a renovation smell. I personally don't like hotel rooms that don't have a door to the sink area, only a door to the shower and toilet. I don't know why they can't have a door to the sink area. The buses to EPIC from Terra Luna run less frequently than from other hotels. Two buses from other hotels show up for one bus from Terra Luna. We waited over half an hour for a bus.

Since the hotel had only recently opened, there was a bit of a wait during check-in. However, the staff were very kind and courteous, which made the process pleasant. On the other hand, there were a few concerns regarding the facilities. The water in the handwashing area didn’t drain well, and the toilet also had drainage issues. I had never encountered these kinds of plumbing problems at other places I’ve stayed, such as Universal Canaveral or Disney All Star Resort, so it was a bit disappointing. I was also surprised by the lack of sound insulation. Voices from the hallway could be heard very clearly inside the room. Additionally, there seemed to be a gap around the door, which likely allowed more noise to enter. I didn’t experience this kind of issue at the previous hotels I mentioned. Since the hotel is still new, I hope to see improvements in these areas in the future.

Near Epic Universal. Good for you to travel to park. But a bit far to town. Not much good restaurants nearby.

I recently stayed at the Universal Terra Luna Resort, and overall, I had an enjoyable experience, especially considering the resort has only been open for two months. Here’s a breakdown of my stay: Design & Cleanliness: The resort is sparkling clean and beautifully designed, with a fresh, modern aesthetic throughout. The lobby, in particular, is stunning, spacious, airy, and a great place to relax or meet up with friends. Rooms: The rooms are on the smaller side compared to other resorts I’ve visited. While space is a bit limited (including the bathrooms and sink areas), the rooms themselves are gorgeous, with thoughtful decor and comfortable beds. If you’re traveling with a lot of luggage or need extra room to spread out, keep this in mind. Dining: There are several restaurants on-site, and I found them generally nice. The food is decently good, but don’t expect a huge variety—menus are somewhat limited. However, there’s a convenient market for sandwiches and snacks, which is handy for a quick bite. Bars & Pool: The resort features two excellent bars: one indoors and one by the pool. Both offer great atmospheres to unwind. The pool area is fantastic, while not very deep, it’s perfect for families and a great spot to cool off and relax. Staff & Service: The hospitality staff were consistently friendly and helpful, adding to the welcoming feel of the resort. Overall: Universal Terra Luna Resort is a wonderful addition to the area. It’s clean, stylish, and offers a lot to families, especially. While the rooms are a bit compact and the dining options could be expanded, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would visit again!
