We were satisfied with the locations they offer and especially the area were the hotel is located is wonderful. In one point we were absolutely disappointed, that was concerning the less efforts they bring on the day, when we our daughter (7) lost here cuddly toy. We left the toy in the room when we checked out, but realized it several hours later. The only answer we got from the men at the reception was, that they have a rule that everything what will be found, will be returned to the reception, but there was nothing returned on that day. We left our email address, but I have my concerns if the really take this topic seriously. For them it’s only a stuffed animal toy, for the kids it is much more!

Cercherò di essere breve ma ci tengo a riportare esempi concreti di quella che è stata la nostra esperienza. Internet (wifi compreso) prende solo all’ingresso del campeggio e in spiaggia, ma questo di per sé non rappresenta un problema perché in vacanza tutto sommato si va per staccare la spina. Il problema è che il telefono non prende neanche per le chiamate da nessuna parte, e per noi che viaggiavamo con un neonato di 3 mesi ha significato non potersi dividere un attimo, perché non era possibile telefonarsi qualora ci fosse stato un problema. Market sfornitissimo e prezzi esagerati: il primo giorno l’uva (marcia) a 6€/kg, il giorno dopo lo stesso grappolo 7 €/kg. Ristorante imbarazzante: l’antipasto “panzanella con code di gambero” erano dei tocchi di pane intrisi di aceto, solo di aceto, con pomodorini sconditi, tre rondelle di cipolla intere e gamberi surgelati lessati e buttati sopra ancora caldi, con il budello. Senza olio, senza un minimo di decenza, viene da chiedersi se chi l’ha preparato si sia messo un attimo nei panni di chi quel piatto lo dovrà mangiare. Il resto della cena è stato anche peggio. Fortunatamente il cameriere, gentilissimo, ha cercato di rimediare in qualche modo, ma l’imbarazzo degli stessi dipendenti è evidente… è chiaro che non possano farci più di tanto perché non dipende da loro. Unico piatto ottimo la pizza: peccato che l’abbiamo mangiata solo la prima sera, perché dal 3 settembre il pizzaiolo non c’era più, contratto scaduto… da lì pizza sostituita da pinsa romana surgelata. Il fatto che siamo a settembre, quindi fine stagione, si nota eccome: pizza finita, la spiaggia è stata pulita ogni mattina fino al 3 settembre poi stop… peccato che noi abbiamo pagato come qualsiasi altro ospite e quindi penso ci sarebbero spettati gli stessi servizi. Sistemazioni confortevoli, nonostante il forte odore di umido. Spiaggia comoda, ma gli ombrelloni vengono chiusi e i lettini sbaraccati alle 18.30, per noi che viaggiamo con un neonato era praticamente l’unico momento per godersela. Personale in generale molto gentile, salvo qualche eccezione, forse unica vera nota positiva della vacanza.

We had our vacation in this camping during July 2023 (2 adults + 2 kids, 3 and 5 years old). We selected Villino Superior Giannutri (bungalow brick), room only option and opted for full board option in restaurant “Le Piscine del Ricca”. Pros: - village is well organized with a lot of space and closed to the sea. Our room was less than 200 meters from the beach - a lot of shaded areas, during afternoon it’s nice to walk through trees. - big parking with assigned place Cons: - quality of the sea. The beach is located closed to a river mouth and, depending by the day, the sea was not nice. - The roomwas old and small. No wardrobe. - restaurant “Le piscine del Ricca” ( which was not formally part of the village, but proposed by them as restaurant). During our stay, we prepaid the full board ( breakfast+lunch+dinner) option. After paid 1 week full board, we had the minimum service level, with waiting times of 1.5-2 hours during the dinners. Food was “basic” with few options. I ordered pasta with fish and what I had was something similar to Pasta in bianco. Breakfast was also poor in the selection. No buffet and just ordering to the bar of the restaurant coffee/capuccino with brioches. Very high cost, compared to the quality service level offered and quantities of the food. We had a nice vacation anyhow, but the quality of the sea and restaurant were not in line with expectations.
