Neemrana's Wallwood Garden

The staff at Wallwood -esp Bala were very efficient and helpful. Gita who ***ages the property was friendly and approachable. The food also was very good. However, the room was disappointing. We stayed at Eucalyptus. The paint on the walls of the room and bathroom were garish and hurts the eye. No colour coordination- wall was pink ! Since the room had large windows ,a lot of light came in. The curtains were thin and had no lining. Have visited this beautiful home ***y years ago when the owners lived there. Such a vast difference to then and now.

We stayed at Neemrana - wall wood garden after our booked hotel in coonoor was not to our liking. Geetha, the ***ager was very welcoming, vibrant and helpful in showing us around and making our stay enjoyable. The chef, Bala , Robin and all other staff in the hotel were very responsive to our needs. Tasty limited buffet breakfast and all day menu was good too. We also enjoyed the evening in the drawing room with the fire on in the fireplace. Will stay there on our next visit for sure.

While the property is small but beautiful, I felt they are massively understaffed. The same person was doing multiple things and guests often had to struggle for his attention. Food is okay but th rooms feel damp and old. Overall decent for the price. Sims park is close.

We stayed two nights here at the tail end of the Monsoon season. Our accomodation was not in the main house, but to some rooms off to the side. They were really damp, despite staff having heaters going prior to our arrival. There was mould on the ceiling. The menu was fairly extensive, but in my opinion needs to be much smaller and done better. Food was average. To their credit the staff were super friendly and accomodating. The property is a little tired partly due I think to the Covid crisis, India like most places is still recovering.

Very very bad stay, the hotel is on main road and ultra noicy due to traffic outside. The staff in the office said that I should had read the reviews from google that there will be noise (rude behaviour!). Humble request to not waste your money - you will feel cheated.

Lovely cosy comfortable cottage with great views from the room. Staff are courteous and caring. With Sims park a stone throw away never expected that our 7 am morning walk ended up as visit to the park thus being the first to enter the park soaking in its beauty in all tranquility

Provided you enjoy reliving the Raj this is a great place. My room led straight out on a delightful garden with views from there of the nearby forest and tea plantations. Built in the 1830s by a Britisher this place is in reasonable condition. The ***ager was very helpful in arranging how to see local sights. Food was excellent even if, as the only guest, I was constantly scrutinised by the wait staff.

Stayed at Wallwood Garden for 3 nights and absolutely enjoyed our time here. The hotel is a beautifully restored heritage villa and the upkeep is good. Rooms are spacious and have an old world charm to it. The limited accommodation and setup make it seem very homely and we enjoyed that the most. It is located in a quieter part of town and only a short walking distance from Sims Park. Everything apart, the USP of this property is definitely its staff. Right from the ***ager to the housekeeping staff, they all serve with a smile. We travelled with a toddler and they made our stay so comfortable. Always ready to help with all our requests, whether dietary or otherwise. The food was superb. Breakfast had limited but excellent choices, all well made. Credits to the Chef, Dinesh for cooking up such wonderful meals for us. We enjoyed our time here and would definitely highly recommend it!

It was good but rooms are very small. One room Acacia was big.but other rooms were very small. The feel of the place was ancient. They don't provide TV too in the rooms. It's 3 kms from bus stand. In breakfast, they did not serve North Indian stuff which is very bad. Only poha was there and all south indian stuff. It was all south indian. the hotel was very nice and beautiful. Acacia room opened in a balcony which was very nice and awesome 👏👏. The staffs were good too. It was raining so the feel was very good.
