The room was spacious, and the staff were very friendly and even helped with our luggage. There's a free swimming pool and a private beach. The hotel grounds are well-maintained with lots of greenery, but it's definitely a bit old-fashioned, and there were some bugs in the bushes. There are restaurants nearby.

I stayed here a few days ago, right when a typhoon hit. The staff were all wonderful. Yesterday, I was supposed to take a shuttle bus to the airport and had already bought a ticket. Luckily, a staff member informed me that the bus was canceled and directed me on how to get to the airport. I'm so grateful to her! The hotel environment is also beautiful.

The beach views are stunning, absolutely unbeatable when the weather's good! Just be aware that the sand can be a bit rough on your feet. A few days here is perfect. Breakfast was good, lunch was excellent, and dinner was pretty decent too.

The hotel grounds are huge and very beautiful. I booked a twin room, but the empty space wasn't very large. I had to push the two beds together to make enough room to open my suitcase. However, the room facilities were very comprehensive: a large balcony with two chairs and a table. The bathroom was spacious, with both a bathtub and a shower. The hotel shop sells diapers, so if you're traveling with a baby, you don't need to go out to buy them. I particularly want to praise the sea area; the water was shallow in the afternoon, and I swam around within the safe zone, encountering six different types of fish, which was fantastic. The hotel has many steps, but also plenty of ramps and elevators, making it suitable for strollers. Beach loungers are paid for by the full day or afternoon; there's no option for just the morning. The laundry room was a letdown, though. While there were many washing machines and dryers, they were quite old, and about a quarter of them were out of order.

We had wonderful time in Okinawa during our stay at Moon Beach Resort. Moon Beach is located in Onna, we found it to be a compromise between airport accessibility (thanks to toll speed highway) and oceanarium trips. Hotel itself isn’t new, but it is very well maintained and I personally think its architecture is timeless. Atriums are gorgeous, sea view and access is great. Food is good and plenty on the display, if I were to pick a favourite, those would be egg benedict for breakfast and crab phalange for lunch. Receptionists are helpful, they showed us a rapid bus schedule for 1 hour access to Naha and back, also ordered us a taxi when we asked. Overall cost of additional activities was satisfactory, we went for snorkelling. Downsides is beach working hours — 9 am to 5 pm. For us northerners UV at 9 am is pretty strong, they should open the beach and give beach towels at least an hour earlier.

This hotel, priced at nearly 3000 a night during the May Day holiday, was a huge disappointment. First, the facilities are incredibly old. The curtains don't block out any light, so it felt like sleeping with no curtains at all from early morning – impossible to get any rest. The floors are tiled, and there are many small steps everywhere, making it easy to trip and fall. The bed frame is also metal, and bumping into it was incredibly painful. Secondly, the service was lacking. On the day of check-in, we weren't informed that there was a shuttle bus from the hotel to Naha Airport, which meant we had to walk a long way every day to catch transportation. How could such important information not be communicated? Is this five-star hotel service? The breakfast buffet was also disappointing, with very few options and average taste. In summary, while the hotel has a good location, the overall value for money is extremely poor.

Great hotel. Spacious, clean rooms, landscaped grounds, nice beach. We went to lunch, a great selection of dishes.
I liked the architecture of modernism and the design of the hotel, there is a highlight of this place. I would love to come back again.

The direct bus from Naha Bus Terminal, platform 11, takes you right to the hotel entrance, and it's only an hour round trip, which is super convenient. I'm really satisfied with the hotel's environment and facilities. I couldn't swim in the ocean due to the season, but I got to experience the stunning sea views. The hotel also has a great variety of entertainment facilities that I definitely want to try next time.

This was my second stay at this hotel, and it's definitely one I'd recommend.
However, it does have quite a few drawbacks. First off, the service is just okay. Some staff members are quite lazy and have a bad attitude – you have to ask them three times before they do anything. Also, when I was checking in, I had my hands full with bags and a suitcase, and they just stood there watching. They didn't offer any help at all, and then asked me to sign something. My phone was in a bag, so if they had just helped me with my luggage, I could have freed up a hand to sign.
Secondly, the soundproofing is terrible. I could hear every word from the room next door as if they were speaking right beside me!
Also, many people have mentioned that the rooms are too bright, and it's true. The lights from outside shine directly in at night, mainly because the curtains are too thin.
On the positive side, the beach is beautiful, with some of the best sand in Onna Village. The hotel's outdoor public areas are also aesthetically pleasing, with beautiful plant and flower arrangements.
Breakfast offers an average variety, but the taste is decent.
There's a fishing port nearby, and as soon as you step out, you'll find tons of restaurants with plenty of delicious food. It's a top choice in Onna Village.
If you're bothered by older properties, you might want to reconsider, as this hotel is over 50 years old. However, it's very well-maintained! Plus, the rooms don't have wall-to-wall carpeting, so there's less dust.
Overall, it's my first choice for a stay in Onna Village. If you prioritize the room and interior design, you could choose the Hotel Monterey next door – its interiors are much better, but its beach is very average. Choose Hotel Monterey if you prioritize the room; choose here if you prioritize the beach.

Even though it's an older hotel, the facilities are top-notch; I didn't feel any of the typical shortcomings of an aging property. I stayed for 2 nights and tried breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and each meal had its own unique characteristics. For breakfast, in addition to the standard offerings, they also had traditional chazuke (rice with tea). Lunch featured all-you-can-eat king crab legs, which were tender and fresh. Besides the regular desserts, you could also order a complimentary chocolate brownie cake (it's made to order, so not on display, but brought to your table after you order), which was delicious. Lunch also had freshly made tempura. It was truly made to order; two older servers would fry as much as you wanted, one frying and one plating. The only downside was having to wait patiently for them to finish frying. Dinner included mussels, smoked salmon, and seafood sashimi rice bowls. For dessert, they even had canelés, my absolute favorite! Both lunch and dinner offered steaks, which were decent, meeting the basic requirements of being tender, juicy, and having a slightly chewy exterior. The hotel's environment is also wonderful, perfect for a leisurely stroll. The pasta served at both lunch and dinner was excellent.
