"We spent a long weekend at 3HB Beach with our family, and the experience exceeded all our expectations. It was a wonderful surprise and, without a doubt, one of the best hotel stays we have enjoyed in the Algarve. The location is fantastic, right by a beautiful beach that is perfect for long walks along the shore. The hotel has been recently renovated, and everything feels modern, stylish, and thoughtfully designed. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and featured an eco-inspired design that we particularly appreciated. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, with high-quality linens that made for a great night's sleep. We also liked the small kitchenette, which is separated from the sleeping area and provides an extra sense of privacy. The bathroom was large, with a spacious walk-in shower and excellent finishes throughout. The facilities are outstanding and clearly designed with families in mind. We loved the newly opened heated pool and the brand-new spa. There is a lovely playground for children, as well as a basketball court and other recreational areas for guests of all ages. The gym also deserves a special mention: it is very well equipped, with a wide variety of modern machines. Another feature we really appreciated was the parking area covered with solar panels—an excellent and forward-thinking idea that reflects the hotel's commitment to sustainability. The food was another highlight of our stay. Breakfast offered a great variety of fresh, high-quality options, and we thoroughly enjoyed the hotel's restaurants. A special mention goes to The View Restaurant, which we highly recommend for dinner. The sea bass was outstanding, the views are beautiful, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it the perfect place for a relaxing evening meal. Finally, we would like to thank the entire team. Every member of staff was incredibly friendly, professional, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Their warmth and dedication made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay at 3HB Beach. It is a modern, comfortable, family-friendly hotel where every detail seems to have been carefully considered. "One of the worst hotels in Albufeira, starting with the hotel room, the mattress is awful, not possible to sleep on, the outside terrace was not clean, the table was dirty. The pool tables and other arcade games, you must pay for them although they are part of the bar in the hotel. The breakfast literally tastes like animal food, as it is with every other food offered in the restaurant of the hotel, the eggs were overcooked, the scrambled eggs were in soggy wet water, the bread was hard and not possible to eat it without breaking your jaw, the coffee was awful and the vegetables offered with the food were at least a week hold. The food is cooked in grease and it looks and tastes awful, Balaia hotel performs fraudulent misrepresentation with advertising a nice breakfast buffee with many various options, when you go to the breakfast in person, it just looks like you got ripped off. You have to pay for everything extra."

Swimming pool is big and water is clean. Delicious breakfast. Lunch serves variety of food including sashimi n sushi. Dinner is excellent. Warm services with great environment. Hotel set up a sofa bed to fit for us family of 4. There is a gym and spa, also common area with nice sea view. Washington machine and cooking stove inside room."

"Absolutely 💯% a little gem we stayed in apartment 111 and it was gorgeous loads of space inside and the sun terrace was stunning, the set in a beautiful grounds. The staff where lovely we will definitely be back thankyou 💕 came with my husband and stayed 4 nights 8 euros in cab to old town but you can walk it about 1/2 hour bars along the way, don't understand the bad reviews it lovely 😊"

The residences we and our friends stayed at were close to the O Grill restaurant and as always, the service from staff and the quality of food was outstanding and could not be faulted or bettered. We will most definitely be returning and have no reservation whatsoever in recommending to others. Truly first class!!"

"I’m gobsmacked this hotel is still flaunted as a 5 star. There is nothing 5 star about it; from the dated rooms to the tatty sunloungers and the fact there’s no pool waiters to name just a few of my basic issues. You have to collect your own towels from a hut and battle for your sun-loungers every morning- unless you’d like to sit on the grass area in the shade- plenty of those which is no good if you want some atmosphere or need to watch your children near the water. If you want food or drink in the daytime don’t expect any pool staff to come to you, you must walk to wherever you want food and drink from and queue to order, sometimes for 30minutes in the heat. The hotel is far too oversubscribed for the restaurants and bars onsite. The food is mediocre at best. If you’re going to the main restaurant for breakfast get there before 9am and sit outside for a nice experience. If you’re unfortunate enough to be put inside be prepared for carnage, making your own coffee, on our last morning I even found a hair within the bread. The pool and beach toilets are grubby and need atleast a good lick of paint on the doors and walls, and a lock! On top of that they’re rarely clean, wet toilet roll all over the floors, those old school roll of linen towel you pull to dry your hands, very unhygienic. The beach loungers are also tired. I felt I was sat on a public beach with the touters coming up and down all day trying to sell stuff. Again you have to go to the beach restaurant yourself for food and drink; not the staffs fault as they’re overrun by guests but if I did ask to order from our loungers you could see this was an inconvenience for them, which is fine had I not paid what I did to come to what is supposed to be a 5 star luxury resort. The lifts are always dirty, the mirrors smeared in peoples sweat and oil from leaning on them all day. The pool areas don’t have designated cleaners and the pool bar staff are busy so a lot of days there were discarded ketchup sachets and takeaway rubbish all over the floors, cigarettes left in plastic cups next to sunloungers etc. Your drinks will always be served in a picnic type plastic cup too so no leaving it on the side as it will tip over in the breeze. There’s some fantastic ‘glass style’ plastic goblets these days- most hotels use those in pool areas- not Pine Cliffs. Staff just walk on by and leave disregarded litter; guests that created the mess not respecting other guests enough to move it themselves. My list could go on and on, this is just my first draft without even thinking too much about it. Don’t pay extra to reserve beds at the beach, they’re all old and as battered as the other two rows of free loungers and you still don’t get service to your bed. We visited the Japanese restaurant on our third night and walking up there I felt so much hope for a luxury experience as it looks the part. I have never had a meal so rushed in my life! "The owner identified as Alex, of an Aibnb M1 in lot 4, house 404 has no respect for who books the accommodation and for what he pays. Three days later, besides a neighbor Mirone, who walked through the garden's grass trying to see what was going through the apartment where I was, the electricity was cut off. I was hosted in T0, ... I was in telework and in the middle of online sessions ..... a building, Raul Brandão Street lot 24, of much lower quality, small sizes with refrigerator and closet in the entrance corridor (only in the baggage, the patio/terrace became a balcony and the view was no longer for a grass and passed to a parking patch. The construction of very poor quality, I heard the renters on the side talking, opening and closing boxes, to hit with the entrance gate of the building (the T0 was at 1ª floor), etc, etc ...a hell!. I asked for reimbursement of the price difference of one accommodation and another and the exit (after completing my work). Airbnb does not respect the user. There are many, more one less one, what matters is your client who pays you fee... refund was the missing night and for the price of accommodation T0 and the rest, nor vislumbre. Airbnb - a platform without responsibility for the "hosts" it represents. The owner's commercial or personal identification should be mandatory, so that the complaint at ASAE is not to an "Alex""

"Great time asked for ground floor room as Mum struggles with stairs..not a problem...got a lovely ground floor 1 bed by pool and bar. Air con fantastic. great shower very clean lots of beds, umbrellas's and tables by pool. pool was clean..gardens were well maintained prices good in bar..staff friendly is a bit out of the way but download Uber..they are with you in no time and do not cost much there is a £200 deposit so plan for this...was just held on the card..never taken and was cancelled day we left so all good. information booklet in room..tells you what you need to know would reccomend olhis d'agua beach...faboulous..about £4 in an uber and be sure to stop at Pickwicks for pre or post beach drink/snack plenty of bars and restaurants in walking distance loved it"
