Hotel de La Cloche

Hotel de la cloche was verry helpfull to change to Hotel Belle Epoque due to road work and bad reachability by car and parking. So we Head a wonderfull week at Hotel Belle Epoque (also Logis). Close to Center of Beaune, Google acces to activities and restaurants.

The title says it all. Second stay at Hotel de la Cloche and will be back again. Lovely staff, clean comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast and superbly situated in the beautiful town of Beaune. What more could you want

There are no lifts so be prepared to lug bags up stairs. Room was tiny, dingy and old. The only positive is the location and on site parking. Probably one of the worst rooms I have stayed in. Staff were not very accomodating either

Recommended hotel in downtown Beaune. Comfortable rooms, spacious, well decorated, friendly and helpful staff, great location, good value. Rooms are air conditioned but be aware there is no elevator at the property.

Once parked it was easy to find the hotel, which is above a bar/restaurant. Excellent location right in the centre. They couldn't find our booking at first which was a bit worrying. Room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast tasty and good quality.

Wonderful value for money hotel. . Very close ot the centre of a wonderful city , highly professional staff, decor and facilities including private parking or accessible street parking nearby, make this an ideal venue for those travelling for business or leisure. This was the fourth stay in the last few years and the service continues to impress cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

Lovely small hotel. Elevator to 2nd floor and small stairs to 3rd floor. We had the top Room - low ceiling and slightly tilted. AC did not work. No shower but a bath. Daughter had her own loft bedroom above ours. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Good it was only 70 degrees.

The hotel is rather dated and could benefit in being refurbished. Beaune is a lovely town to visit and stay in. The bed was comfortable and room size was okay. The fittings were in the main quite old. The room did have air conditioning. The bath was really too narrow to sit in and certainly have space to wash. The tiles were bright and fresh looking in the bathroom. The breakfast which costed 14.50 Euros was rather underwhelming for the price. Only one cereal being offered - Cornflakes which had already been poured out into a bowl, other fruits were on plates beneath cling film presumably to control the amount people took, rather strange and something I have never experienced before. Boiled eggs were available although no other cooked selection. The coffee was extremely strong, probably stewed. Pastries were good, rolls were quite hard and no choice of seeded/nutty breads which we like. The apple I first selected was soft so took another which was fine but nothing special. Parking at the rear of the hotel was chargeable but the large public car park opposite the hotel is free and lots of cars parked in it, we parked our brand new car there and had no regrets.

Excellent stay in a great hotel. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable and excellent value for money. Excellent breakfast and the dining room was also very comfortable. Really well located in the town with just a 3 minute walk to the centre. I would recommend the Hotel De La Cloche to anybody
