The bungalows are brand new and very clean, the breakfast is quite good, and there are numerous restaurants, cafes, and massage parlors in the immediate vicinity. A minor drawback was the hotel pool, which wasn't very clean (the water was very cloudy, almost yellowish) and had unpleasant odors."

"Family run business (Bas and his mother are lovely people and surprised my wife on her birthday!) that really cares about the customer and the quality they receive. Stayed in the Chaba bungalow and the coziest we experienced in our travels in Thailand. Semi private beach with free use of kayaks and paddle boards. Waters calm and nice for swimming, the pool equally so. Most northern part of the island making a tranquil island into even more of one. Getting a scooter is highly recommended for moving around the island."

"We had 14 wonderful days at Koh Jum Beach Villas. Fantastic place with really good food, good local beers and amazing cocktails. The place does a lot for the environment and definitely considers nature in their decisions. Incredibly service-minded staff who did everything to ensure we had the perfect holiday. Lovely bar and restaurant area. We travelled with our children, children-in-law and grandchildren. We booked a villa with three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a shared living room, kitchen, lovely large terrace and, last but not least, our own swimming pool, which was perfect for us as we had children aged four and 20 months with us. We would definitely consider returning to both the island and Koh Jum Beach Villas. If we had to comment on one area where we would like to see an upgrade, it would be the gym. But otherwise, everything else was perfect."

"This is paradise. The bungalows are very nice, comfy and just perfect to relax. You see one of the nicest sunsets from the beach or from the balcony of ur little bungalow. The staff is so super nice, the food is excellent, the drinks (I can only speak for non alcoholic) are super deliscious. It is just perfect for relaxation vacation. They rent motorbikes and bicycles. Just amazing 🥰"

"It is not often that you find a place that makes you smile the moment you arrive but this place does. The staff without fail has smiles on their faces and were very willing to help from the start. We had an original bungalow which was small and basic but very well designed and suited us perfectly. The bed was very comfortable and the AC kept the room nice and cool. The food was very good and there is a lovely cocktail bar on the beach with a view of the sunset which helpfully coincided with happy hour! As with any hotel there were small gripes but nothing serious. What came through more was a place with charm and character which you cannot create or buy. We have already booked to return next year"

"We were staying in the different property on the island and wasn’t very happy, while driving around the island. We popped into this resort, It is in lands slightly and in the middle of the forest Hill but the rooms were much Cleaner better sealed so less bugs can enter and the actual pool facilities were beautiful. The breakfast was basic but very tasty and the gentleman who works behind the counter was incredibly helpful if I was staying on the island, I would definitely stay here again."

We were here 3 nights and we wished it was more ! great experience !"

"Let me start by saying that upon arrival we learned about an upgrade to our room category. Thank you very much. The hotel itself is very green, cozy with white bungalows. A nice pool with cool water. It's pleasantly refreshing in the heat. The staff is friendly and welcoming. A wonderful observation deck in the restaurant area from which it's nice to watch the sunsets. The restaurant itself, unfortunately, was not open, the staff said it was low season. Indeed, there aren't many guests at the hotel, one day it seems we were the only ones in the hotel. Breakfasts were served at the reception, simple but tasty. The beach is picturesque, but you need to be careful when swimming because of the rocks, but you can swim even at low tide. There are cafes nearby. Shops are about 500 meters away. Rock bar is nearby on the shore, a very positive bartender and an atmospheric place."

"I left after the first day, it is way to secluded in the high mountains away from everything. And the hotel check in lady is weird and aggressive. She forced you to sign the check in paper without you reading it because she is trying to hide the real price. I recommended staying at another resort on flat land. Walking up those stairs is like a workout, and carrying bags is even worse! The hotel is a little dated and less luxury looking once you get there. I don’t recommend going alone here, the doors don’t have locks. Strange place."

"Great, relaxed stay at Krabi Boat Lagoon. We booked 3 days to take some time out and relax and we did just that. The pods are really cool, nice and clean and great facilities including fridge, sink, plates/cutlery ect. Nice little balcony to sit and have a coffee on of a morning. We used the small fitness suite while there and spent our time in the pool which we had mostly to ourselves. There is one restaurant on site which does really nice food and drinks. It does close between 2-5pm but theres a small coffee counter set up with really good iced coffee (extremely cheap as well!). This location is extremely remote. This didn't bother us as we were here to relax. We did rent a bike off the restaurant owner to travel out a bit and you can organise a taxi into Krabi town for roughly 800bht (we shared with another couple splitting the cost). 7/11 store is roughly 5km away and there is one or two restaurants maybe 10km away as well."
