Back to nature with green views, hot water shower is very good, all staffs are very nice, easy access to go anywhere 'cause location in middle of the Minahasa.

The resort located outside of the city but in a beautiful place in the jungles. Kali and Telu waterfalls are at the walking distance I was ready to recommend to other travellers to stay there but the incident happened on the last day of my stay has changed my opinion. The 100Usd bill has gone from my locked room. There were no other guests at the resort, I was the only one guest at that time. There are no video cameras at the resort. However Tomohon is worth visiting with very beautiful nature and it is easy to arrange a tour online with a licensed guide and transport, that will be twice cheaper than at the site.

The staff were friendly but communication was difficult. We had trouble ordering food because of the language barrier, and orders came wrong

Just loves staying at Highland Resort! Very nice and spacious bungalows in beautiful surroundings. Charlie and staff are extremely nice and helpful and all in all Highland Resort is an ideal base for exploring Minahasa area. Highly recommended!!

We had a lovely night at Highland Resort. The staff were super helpful and accommodating - we arrived quite early and they checked us in without any issues. It is very peaceful and sitting on the little terrace out the front of the cabin is quite lovely. It is away from the main road in a little valley so very peaceful and no noise. The rooms are fairly similar to other options of this type in the area - a little dark but with a comfortable bed and a nice hot shower. We were able to rent a scooter from the Resort to take us to the start of the Kali Falls short track from Kali village relatively nearby which was great, and the next day we hiked Lokon which was a real highlight. We had the food that they order in from a local restaurant - the Chinese options were decent and we were happy with the convenience to be able to be in bed early before our morning hike. Would stay again :)

Nice bungalow on quit place. The staf is very helpful and friendly, some of them are inexperienced The tours are to expensive regarding price and kwality It is a putty there is no restaurant, all the food is brought in by ‘kitty’s’ cold and limited quality

Pretty and very quiet resort, and we got a free room upgrade as our door lock didn't work. Staff were very helpful, and told us about a walk to a waterfall we could do ourselves straight from the resort. Rooms were large and had water, tea and coffee provided, and were good value for money. We booked a volcano tour with sunrise hike, which was expensive but a very good day out and our guide was good - helpful but not overbearing. Thought breakfast was included in the room price but it wasn't. Good for a one night stay in Tomohon to cover the sites of interest in this area.
