Yumoto Noboribetsu

The hotel felt very authentic, with traditional Japanese rooms and a fantastic onsen (hot spring).

This was my second stay here. The hotel isn't large, but it's cozy and comfortable. The women's hot spring bath is excellent, very airy and relaxing. Dinner was absolutely delicious, and breakfast was good too. Overall, highly recommended!

This Japanese-style hotel was excellent! 👍 It was very clean, and the room was spacious enough for two people. The half-board option was great, especially dinner; the Japanese kaiseki meal was exquisite and delicious! The staff provided excellent service, and the hot springs were wonderful. It was a thoughtful touch that a young staff member spoke Chinese at breakfast, which was very helpful! Five-star rating!

The hotel's location is excellent, right across from the bus station, which is super convenient. The facilities are comprehensive, and the hot springs are particularly amazing.

Our first night in Hokkaido on November 3, 2025, was spent at Noboribetsu Yumoto Hotel. As soon as we stepped out of the car at the hotel entrance, the bell staff immediately loaded our luggage onto a cart and warmly welcomed us into the lobby. The front desk staff greeted us loudly, making us feel right at home. There was a young man at the front desk who was a student from China studying in Hokkaido, so our translation device wasn't even needed. He quickly helped us check in and enthusiastically told us about the location of the hotel's hot springs, usage precautions, and nearby tourist attractions. The service was excellent. We had booked a package including dinner and breakfast. Dinner that evening was served in our room by a staff member and consisted of a very generous Japanese meal with over ten hot and cold dishes, plus complimentary red wine and fruit. The next day's buffet breakfast was also abundant, with a great variety and delicious food. The hotel is conveniently located directly across from a bus stop with several routes, including one to Noboribetsu JR Station. Hell Valley is just a 10-15 minute walk to the right of the hotel entrance, and the Bear Park is also not far. In summary, Yumoto Hotel boasts a great location, excellent food, spacious rooms, comfortable sleep, Chinese-speaking staff, and a lobby with free various drinks and coffee. The different hot spring baths within the hotel were particularly relaxing and highly recommended!
